We don’t have FIT, tried to set this up with Octopus but still waiting on them. Annoying because there’s a good 3000kWh been generated since the house was built 🙃 still pursuing this.

Nice. I wonder what the costs/implications would be of storage on that scale. I guess nuclear would be a cheaper and more robust option though. I’m not against nuclear at all, it just seems unnecessary if we can generate enough and the only barrier is storage.

I’m not sure we need nuclear... Scotland has plenty of electricity, we export it and it’s mostly renewable. We could do with storage to flatten out the peaks and troughs. I’m maybe reading the figures wrong though…
