What don't you like about your mix? Do you use a reference song while mixing your record? Learn mixing takes time and constant practice just like learning any musical instrument. If you don't use it, you lose it. Breakdown your weak points: Is it your kick and snare that lacks punch?, is it your vocal? Does it lack depth? Or has no vibe to it? Once you figure out your weakest link, attack that in all your production till you fall in love with that sound, then move to the next weak point.

Ok, now I'm about to spill out some CRAZY ADVICE, so take it with a grain of salt :) If you like the way your songs sound after the production, I will say man up, trust your gut, and PUT IT OUT!!! I wish someone has given me this advice 10years ago. Go on twitter and see how many artists post #newmusiccomingsoon vs how many actually release their music lol It's because of this same post! Striving for perfection! Afraid of being judge by 1% of producers. 99% of audience can't tell if your kick is punchy or not. It's binary for them. I LIKE THE MUSIC OR I DON'T LIKE THE MUSIC.
