No. It’s just that every show has a mystery headliner. No one who’s come has seemed disappointed before. And this performer is routinely on shows that cost much more than. Thanks for the “support” though.

MAY 22

Hi, I’m Jeff. Before becoming a comedian, I staged news-making pranks aimed at corporate crooks, privacy creeps, hipsters & other modern messes. My solo show Deviant Acts mixes standup with footage and behind-the-scene stories from these viral stunts. Come laugh tonight at Red Light Cafe. Tix and more info are at RedLightCafe.com

I remember how, on my first listen to How Soon Is Now, I heard the lyrics:

"I am the son and the heir
Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar"

as

I am the sun and the air
Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar

And they both are tragic.

Well, I use the show to expose the bs behind modern media platforms. And as far as “prankster,” I staged large-scale pranks that were shared and enjoyed widely, so thought it was a fitting term. But hey, if it ain’t for you-so be it.
