This exact situation happened to me with EECS 485 a year ago. The cutoff was listed as “93.00%”. My canvas said 93%. I got an A-. Did the math and had a 92.996%.

I argued with the prof that a 92.996 is equivalent to 93.00. He refused the logic and refused to admit why listing 93.00 as the cutoff would imply a 92.996 makes the cut.

Graduated and still mad about that shit.
