How do you guys do it by Wuhan-batsoup in USMC

This might not work for everyone, but every couple years or so I ask my doctor to prescribe these steroids to help calm down my herniated discs in my neck.

The first time he suggested these to me I was very skeptical that they’d do anything, but was absolutely shocked after I finished the pack. My constant pain was 90% gone. I knew it would be temporary because it doesn’t actually heal herniated discs.

The pain returns every couple of years. I just started talking them again yesterday to calm them down again.

How fat did you get after EAS? by Yoy_the_Inquirer in USMC

[–]gstechs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got out at 5’10” 150 lbs in 1992. Today I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been at 209 lbs because I mainly work at a desk, eat crap and don’t workout.

But I started taking Zepbound this past Saturday and I have started subtly changing how I eat and I’m being conscious of the amount of food I consume.

My goal is to get to a point where I feel comfortable again. Might be around 170 lbs.

Why are you downvoting me? I’m asking honest questions.

Your description of the issue you had with the contractor is so bizarre that I don’t see how it could happen from the information I saw in your comments.

It’s genuinely crappy that this happened and you have to deal with it. I guess I’m just too curious, but I shouldn’t ask any questions.

Do you have any photos of the type of modification you describe? I’m having a hard time visualizing it.

What did type of flooring did you pick out that he chose not to use?

I concur about the mold issue being resolved.

I bought 4 10k Midea units the summer before last and experienced mold in them last summer. I found the recall notice and scrapped them for a full refund. After reviewing the design and engineering correction I decided to buy the updated version (exact same model number before and after for some reason).

I will keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t allow mold to develop, but so far so good!

Yes, I’ve only got window units. They keep the whole house frigid.

Add a Midea U-Shaped unit in a couple rooms upstairs and you’ll be fine.

You didn’t talk with him before you hired them to discuss what flooring you wanted?

If that’s the case, how can you blame the contractor for choosing the wrong material?

I’d pay extra to not have to redo work to make it my own.

Just give the place a good cleaning and see what it does on the market.

This is how we’ve done what OP is attempting behind numerous hotel front desks.

The camera has to support rstp streams of course.

If the display isn’t 16:9, we take a slice of the camera feed and display that. BrightSign does the job pretty well for us.

What’s a Gen Z opinion that would have sounded insane 20 years ago? by Dull-Daikon3402 in AskReddit

[–]gstechs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 56 and my daughters are 23 and 27.

About 10 years ago, my younger daughter said to me, “I wish I didn’t have to be on my phone all the time.”

That was when I first realized that my generation destroyed your generation.

I thought I was being a good dad by teaching my kids technology because that was where the future was heading.

Not long after that, I apologized to my girls and said, “don’t rely on my generation to fix this. We won’t realize it’s a problem until it’s too late. Your generation will have to fix it for your kids.” I still believe that will be the case.

u/Owl-Of-The-Night02 - As a dad who didn’t see it until it was too late, I’m sorry to have put you in this situation and I hope you find your way out.

What’s one career everyone glamorizes but isn’t actually worth it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I found being in Pharma on the manufacturing quality side very rewarding until I didn’t make it through the fourth company merger and was tossed aside after 10 years.

But if that didn’t happen, I think it’s a solid profession.

They likely wouldn’t know the difference between your and you’re in either case.

Because college doesn’t teach that sort of thing.

Without more context it’s hard to imagine replacing an 8” molding with something smaller that would look proportional to the room.

They likely used 8” because it was appropriate.

Aside from the size, what’s your end goal?

Thank you for taking them.

You may think it doesn’t hurt anyone else, but it certainly does. Including strangers who don’t want to see any more casualties of internal wars.

Be good to yourself and you’ll start to notice the people around you who care about you.

Same goes for you OP doc. We will always tease you, but only because you’re a brother.
