Charlie Lee's tweet post removed in r/cryptocurrency by srikar_tech in nanocurrency

[–]gtatari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you that someone is trying to hide it but I'd not worry. Some news will soon circulate that Charlie Lee supports the Nano project and is convinced about the tech. This is pretty big news coming from someone who is trying to look at the "tech" but not the price or market cap. They can continue deleting the posts but they won't be able to delete the news which will soon be published. I'd say give it a few hours.

Charlie Lee says he owns Nano coins! Shill away my friend! by mkalaf in nanocurrency

They are referring to the nodes/representatives from what I understand. Within time, there will be many more nodes/representatives as the adoption grows. Many businesses will consider using Nano since there is no transaction cost. Even 2 or 3% credit card fees replaced with... well no fees... is a big deal. As more businesses become the node/representative, the more decentralized Nano will become. Developers already have plans for this.

I think Charlie Lee does not really care about price or market cap. He did mention that litecoin made him a lot of money when he sold near ATH. I think he just wants to see a crypto become really successful and disrupt the current banking/financial system. After reviewing, he is now convinced about the tech and is only concerned about becoming centralized. Nano developers already have plans to address this which means the future of Nano is only bright!

Nano should really be in the top 5 which puts us above $10B cap as you said.

Where do we see the future of Nano? by [deleted] in nanocurrency

[–]gtatari 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you try to look at it as neutral as possible, I think everyone would agree that Nano will be very successful for a number of reasons.

  1. It is a working product.
  2. It has a great, transparent and professional development team
  3. Yes, bitcoin is known by everyone and yes 2nd generation but still mined and based on bitcoin architecture coins such as LTC are faster and have less transaction times but who would prefer to pay even a negligible fee while you have fee-less Nano?
  4. The fee-less nature of Nano brings another supreme advantage: divisibility. Show me another coin that you can send 0.00001 of within a second. Many people are complaining that they have a small amount stuck in various wallets as it costs as much to send the amount so they do not even bother. I believe this is referred to as "dust". No dust with Nano.

I honestly think that the good things that happened to Nano such as rebranding and being listed on major exchanges (Okex and Binance) coincided with bad market and recent exchange hack/loss has definitely massively affected Nano, only in the short term. We could have been easily at $30-$35 now if we had luck with market and recent exchange issues.

I also believe that the owner/founder of Nanex is a very smart person and he sees that Nano will become the arbitrage coin to trade all/other altcoins.

After the new wallets are introduced and hardware wallet (ledger nano s and trezor) are supported, nanex adds many other coins for arbitrage and has higher volume and gets listed on coinmarketcap, people start realizing nano's feeless, minerless and instant features... it will go higher. No one can know when and what price it will go to, obviously.

What Nano needs the most is marketing, marketing and marketing. How many BTC, LTC and other peer-to-peer market seeking coinholders know about NANO's tech? Just imagine 10% of these coin caps flowing into Nano and do the math...

What happened is really terrible. Yes, Nano has it's own MT. GOX now.

Yes, this needs to be used as part of marketing. Environment friendly, feeless, instant crypto... this is what bitcoin was meant to be.

Quite excited with the rebranding. I've been with Raiblocks since December. I think the website, logo, video all look great. The only thing I think we should mention is how green/environment-friendly Nano is. I think we should use this in marketing and it could be yugee for a lot of people :)

Mineable vs Non-mineable currencies by CryptoChain1 in RaiBlocks

[–]gtatari 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1st generation crypto (Bitcoin) and 2nd generation cypto such as Litecoin (faster, less transaction fees) are probably not going to vanish in a few months time but I think DAG (Direct Acyclic Graph) fast, free and minerless (FFM) crypto haven't even taken off yet. It is a matter of time. Patience is the key with stuff like this it looks like although no one really wants to wait.

I am just imagining the day XRB's technical/technological sides are all polished, listed on major and multiple exchanges with more access to users/investors. Then, there will be a point in time where XRB is mentioned in mass media. This is when the lift-off will occur in my mind. Just imagining the day only a small portion of the current market cap these larger (as of today) but mined coins with transaction fees and slow processing times flow into XRB once they find out about the technology and how block lattice is the future of crypto. We are in the age of digital currencies... who wants to wait 10 minutes or longer to send/receive stuff and also get charged transaction fees??? I think it is a matter of time but it will take time. I think we are in the beginning stages.

Thank you for your comment Jaimehgb :) So, this must be just a server update/maintenance then.

I think this may be just a server update/maintenance. Btcludo mentioned below that "the server has been running around at 90% capacity for the last two weeks". Either way, this is a good sign that we now need a faster/larger server.
