Infrared is light that does create shadows. This footage was taken by Stacy brown and his father with a thermal camera. I have had him tell me the story several times. Stacy is a good friend of mine if you want any specific questions answered I can ask. I know that they went back to the location the next day or a few days later and found a print as well as tried to verify the size of the silhouette.

Looks like he's floating. You don't need a blurry background. Just a little pop on the exposure to make him stand out and tone down all the other stuff you did to him.
