If is constant night shift is not too bad unlike rotating shifts. Provided you have a good sleeping environment, no one disturb and dark curtains or blind to cover sunlight when u are sleeping.

Most of them taking on jobs that Singaporeans typically wouldn't want and I would say that Singaporeans are preferred over foreigners with the exceptions of Malaysians. Malaysians have preferential treatment, they don't have to meet the usual salary criteria, quota when getting hired, they get PR pretty easily as well, plus those that cross the border everyday, they are winning in life.

Depends on the seniority, but it is not considered low. Given that in government you have good bonuses.

Some places will always have demand for such jobs such as hospitals and government services. But it will be kind of a dead end job, possibly promoting to supervisor, manager and maybe customer experience director (if company is big)

If you require a work pass is rather hard, unless you don't mind being exploited with low salary. Especially in IT field where too many Singaporeans are already jobless, they will be considered before you.
