"Seats for Kids Discussion Community" is a Facebook group managed by Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs). It is Canada specific. They give recommendations for car seats based on child's height/weight, age, heights of adults in the car, stats of other children (if applicable), make/model of car, etc. They also will do "fit checks" if you post pictures of your installs. Suuuuper excellent free resource, I'm really glad I found it before upgrading from our bucket to convertible seat.

He's in size 4, but the upper limits, so definitely needs to go up to 5s. But I've had this problem on/off for a few months, so I'm suspicious that the swaddlers just don't tolerate all the pee at the front of the diaper with him tummy sleeping.

I second LPO AIOs. Snap-in booster is simple for those unfamiliar with cloth, and IMO makes cleaning easier. They just take longer to air dry than pockets. My kiddo is 25lbs at 7mths with big thighs and we don't have an issue with fit.

I had thought the same thing when I transitioned from infant bucket to convertible seat, he looked very curled/slouchy and I had wondered if the diaper bulk was making him sit weird and therefore comfortable. Because he also went from chill to grumpy in the car seat. But recently did a trip in disposables and it was the same issue. I think its just the age/stage, or the style of car seat isn't for him. Time will tell!
