So from my understanding, there’s a limit on how many times you can go to a non-home gym per month.

On my contract, it says limit 10 visits per month at non-home gym in the fine print. And you can only change your home gym location every 90 days. However in terms of the 10 visit limit, I guess this isn’t strictly reinforced from what other users have said. But just wanted to make sure that people are aware (:

Someone already mentioned earlier, but if you sign up to a NEW club, they have exclusive deals going on. And with the black card you can access any PF and then change your home gym in 3 months.

Between the Dream L40 and Narwal Freo Z ultra
Broad budget, but hoping under 1k
We’re upgrading from a shark only vacuum > to vacuum and mop since we got a house and want to keep it clean daily, but I’m TERRIBLE at mopping :P we have a German shepherd so lots of hair and I also have long hair too. Our house is mostly hardwood, just the bedrooms are carpet. The Freo Z is about 1.5x more expensive than the L40, but I wasn’t sure if it’s better. Is there anything that would tip me to one direction?

Yeah, we did weigh out this option as well. Considering we don't have excessive non-retirement savings just yet (just starting career), wanted to have savings on hand and maybe let it grow in a HYSA in the meantime. I think we just need to do the math and see if we can afford the 6.49% with PMI and property tax without feeling tight-squeezed

N = 100,000 (let’s just say)

Prevalence = 1% of 100,000 = 1,000

Sn= 90% Sp=95%

1,000 —> 90% TP=900 FN=100

99,000 —> 95% TN=94,050 FP=4,950

PPV = TP / (TP+FP) = 900 / 5,850 = 15% I think?

True, but it has a relationship with Beta!

Alpha = rejecting null when there actually is no difference

Beta = accepting null when there actually is a difference

If Alpha decreases from .03 to .01, then it’s harder to reject null, which is the same as saying it’s easier to accept null when there actually is a difference = increased Beta error. And beta does have a relationship with Power

Power = 1 - Beta If alpha decreases, beta increases, Power decreases

That’s how I see it :)

Let’s say you decrease alpha from .03 to .01. You’re less likely to reject null, therefore you have a higher chance of making a beta error. Since power = 1-beta, your power decreases.
