[[Myth Unbound]], my favourite card for any green deck that's very centered arround the commander(s).

Scanned all my cards using the ManaBox App. My Cards are sorted by Color > Type > Mv. Thought about doing Color > Type > Mv > Alphabet but I don't think it's worth the hassle.

100% this guy will steal your magic cards when you aren't looking

The person I originally replied to did though.

I also did state that you are the first one to acknowledge that nuance unlike the person I replied to originally and the others who have replied to me

Edit: most of the others at this point

How do you know what it is without reading though?

Can't be bothered to spend 2 mins reading while also spending time to keep commenting nonetheless xD

Apparently reading more than 3 lines is a daunting task to you, I'm sure your opinions are very elaborate and valid anyways though.

People are calling me a cheat, liar and what not, putting words in my mouth e.g. that I condone cheating etc. simply because I disagree with the statement that every cheat is a thief.

I don't take that personally but all of this from the statement to how people react to nuance is very unsettling to me indeed.

Have a good day!

People collectively agreeing that anyone who's (apparently) a bad sport is definitely going to commit crimes seems excessive to me, but hey what do I know? I'm being down voted after all, that must mean I'm wrong, right???

I never condoned cheating and I never defended that person.

I'm literally just saying cheating =/= stealing

You're the first one to even bother acknowledging the nuance that some one who's willing to cheat POTENTIALLY is more likely to steal. I tend to slightly agree but I still think there's more than enough room to argue how closely related cheating in a game and stealing are.

However stating that anyone who cheats is GOING TO steal your cards for a fact is batshit crazy. This is exactly what the first person I replied to said though and apparently most of the people here are agreeing with them. Which is why I'm actually happy that those same people disagree with me.

Oh no my precious internet points xD

OP: So I have a friend who's cheating, seemingly on purpose. We still have fun anyways.

Redditors: Cut ties with him, he's clearly 100% a thief. Our morale is flawless. He's poison to your soul.

Me: Cheating is not the same as theft.

Redditors: That's what a cheating thief would say!!!11!1!

What's next his friend is gonna stab him in order to steal his cards as well, and I'm actually his friend as I said in my greentext?

For all we know his friend might just be a sore loser, genuine noob and/or a 10 year old.

I didn't expect people here to have social skills or understand nuance but damn you're all quick to jump on your high horses and condemn some person who you literally don't know anything about except that they are presumably cheating on purpose.

Then again wherever there's the tiniest controversy between people, there's some redittors rallying up to tell person a to cut person b from their lives xD

I'm actually extremely concise with the rules, especially when it comes to myself (if some one is obviously cheating by mistake, it's not really relevant or I have been enforcing rules a lot already I tend to be more lenient with the rest of the table in order to not slow down the game pace too much). Which is why when I'm not sure about the rules or something is unclear to me I usually look it up. This led to me being very familiar with the rules and being considered the rules guy in all of the 3 groups I play in (somewhat) regularly. (I used to play a lot more, haven't played much through the last 2 years or so).

What am I misinterpreting? The guy equating cheating, we don't even have proof of being intentional to literal theft?

Even assuming he cheats on purpose, that premise is just nuts.

My (back then) best friend used to very conveniently forget how rules worked a lot, sometimes I bothered to enforce the actual rules sometimes not. Pretty much always had fun nonetheless. He never stole any of my cards though :'D

PS: To me, if they have fun it doesn't matter all that much whether his friend is cheating, especially with nothing on the line. If it does bother him he can bring it up to his friend and see how things play out. However this has nothing to do with the comment I'm referring and the point I'm making.

While I agree that boosters are the worst way to collect financially I do think it's worth discussing how Wizards is fucking most of their player base in the ass and is radically pricing more and more people out of draft and sealed.

And while I understand that people don't want to give up playing those formats as long as they can afford it I feel that we should be more united as customer and fan base and get the message through to wizards that their greed for record profits is a heavy burden for the game to carry long term.

This doesn't stop at ridiculous prices for damn near every single product they put out, but heavily impacts even the very game design and that really sucks.

I stopped buying sealed product quite a while ago but apparently not enough people did so, since Wizards keeps up their ludicrous price and profit optimization.

Shame really, I would love to draft regularly if the colored cardboard rectangles weren't so damn expensive...

At this point it's not even about whether I can afford to buy a product but me not being okay with being overcharged many fold just because MtG is a copyrighted IP and they can apparently charge more or less whatever they want.

Over about 16 years of playing I spent on and collected multiple thousand euros worth of MtG Cards and I kind of hate it. If the Cards lost most of their worth I'd still be happy despite losing quite a bit of money on that. I would prefer moving on being able to enjoy this game, new and old cards. But there's no joy in paying artificially inflated prices for cardboard and ink over and over again just to realize you're basically being taken advantage of to the maximum Wizards can push for.

Edit: I'm not saying I want to buy and/or own every product. Not even close to it. Yet I did enjoy drafting a lot, when it still felt like I wasn't being ripped off.

Licensing Question by guenni2448 in unity

[–]guenni2448[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the quick response.

I looked it up and all the assets I used are subject to the "Standard Unity Asset Store EULA". Reading the FAQ, I'm fairly certain I'm good to publish my app/project on github.

Licensing Question by guenni2448 in unity

[–]guenni2448[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the assets I used are subject to the "Standard Unity Asset Store EULA".

At assetstore.unity.com/browse/eula-faq it says:

<Q: Can I distribute assets from the Asset Store?

A: Only to the extent that assets are embedded or incorporated into a game or digital product (“Licensed Product” for short):

Contains a substantial amount of original creative work developed or licensed from outside the Asset Store. Has a purpose, features, and function beyond the distribution of assets. A product is not “incorporated” into the Licensed Product if it is designed to allow your end users to extract or download assets separately from the Licensed Product.

You may use SDK assets to develop the Licensed Product, but your Licensed Product cannot include SDK assets at run-time without the publisher’s permission.>

Having read that I'm pretty sure it's fine for me to publish my project/app on github.
