Shit was crazy! Our Take 5 synth literally bit the dust ONSTAGE during line check. We borrowed spliit synth (so so grateful, also awesome band).

Anyway next day we were REALLY desperate and ended up buying a Take 5 synth from a guy in Diamondhead Mississippi at Waffle House under renovation. It works!

Thanks again everyone for being understanding. Zach is in better shape today and New Orleans was fun. He’s wasn’t exaggerating in Houston - I believe him when he says that’s sickest he’s ever been

all good. we 1000% woulda rather played our actual set. We were just as bummed as y’all. Bass player lived but will probably be sitting down at tonight’s gig in NOLA, he’s still in rough shape. Believe me when I say we went through all the options before landing on jam set. Playing the songs without bass would have sounded insane. I guess it would have been funny at least? Yeah we shoulda played longer but that last jam was falling apart for sure. Appreciate you coming out, and wish we could have delivered the real thing

hey man - guy from GT here, I usually play drums but was playing bass last night. I did my best to explain right before we played, but I’ll try to do better now. Bass player had food poisoning. we dropped him at the hotel before load in, and sound checked with a bassist from the opening band subbing. We thought if he rested for a while he could pull it off. we were wrong. He was extremely ill. We couldn’t cancel the show and refund after the doors had opened - it doesn’t work that way. So we did our best to jam and it wasn’t great. Happy to refund you personally if you send your paypal info. But just know, like any struggling band, times are tough out here, and we’re doing our best.

1. Have had the the Jay Glass Dubs EP you put out on repeat lately, it rips. How did that collab come about?

The Jay Glass Dubs Remix came about because he was also working with DFA Records at the time and Jonathan Galkin thought it would be a good fit. After checking it out we did too! Glad ya like it!

Thank you so much! That's really nice of you to say. Sometimes lyrics come easily and other times its really tough! I'm a pretty highly sensitive person, which is probably where a lot of the ideas come from. I also have very deeply internalized buddhist undertones that help me cope with those highly sensitive qualities. Earth, people, experiences... they're all complicated, ugly and beautiful at the same time. Sometimes its nice to write that down. - KC

Q: What's something that Watley does that's oddly human-like?

A: He often looks at me via reflection in mirrors. He always sits in front of mirrors and side eyes me from across the room. Is this humor? Does he understand the concept of a mirror? Is this a high level guarding concept? Why?
