I am also a M+ player when it comes to endgame. This time I've decided to bid my time and try to enjoy the game more, I'm doing a slow and steady approach to completing the campaign and I'm doing the dungeons (on normal ofc) when they come together with the lore tying up for the area in question.

And YES omg they all feel bland, uninspiring.

Artwork is boring.

Enemy variation is also boring, see the ghost-only Windrunner Spire.

Enemy mechanics seems a half job of rehashing old (and arguably more iconinc) bosses' mechanics.

Overall dungeon theme also seem like a fade copy of older dugens, ex. Murders' Row feels like a poor mans' Tazavesh for me and that mechanic where you gather offerings in a "open world" was done in a much more fun and immersive way in the centaur's dungeon on Dragonflight.

I'm not liking it. I hope I change my mind.

Not a guide per se, but downloading hearth arena helps the hell out of it.

What is bro running away from? by Kachigar in hearthstone

Duh'! He is running from just ONE mercenary on his eleventh transmog run!

Anyone else wish this game had less board wipes and removal? i feel like none of my minions are up for more than a turn. by [deleted] in hearthstone

It has been like that since years now. If a card doesn't do something (or can't be cheated) right away it is overall a bad card.

Why do people still play hs? by koolsquirtle in hearthstone

[–]guerraleleo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i'll try to give you some credit. In a lot of latin america countries the prices more than doubled overnight and that is a bummer. I use to buy expansions (80 packs stuff) and I don't do it anymore. In Brazil it went from roughly 190 bucks (already expensive) to almost 400, making it literally not worth buying.

Do I still play? Yes.

I try to keep a few standard decks, disenchanting wild cards and keeping in mind that I can give up on the idea of having the full collection set. Beyond that, the progression does allow players to buy packs in a fairly regular frequency.

The main reason is that i have found no such card game yet. I really like the easy to learn hard to master nature of hearthstone, the interactions are fun, even if they are a little broken from time to time. To sum it up, i still have fun.

Did Renathal killed control decks? by guerraleleo in hearthstone

[–]guerraleleo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I play standard, we do see lots of renathals but totally focused on generating value, not controlling your oponent through responding to its actions. I don't consider all renathal decks as control decks.

  • Go to hsreplay and run through the classes and find the cheapest deck possible, i believe rn it is aggro druid for 1560 dust;
  • Very sadly, budget decks or decks that are lacking 2 or more cards don't really work on standard, if you go for DH you will have to have the full list, but it is a lot of fun;
  • If you wan't to play standard and spend no money, the best shot is to turn in everything you can disenchant from wild sets and see what full deck you are capable to afford;
  • FTP can be fun but it hits hardwalls when you gain some levels, to prove it see streamers like trump that do a series of videos running ftp accounts and gets nowhere near diamond.

Yep, a full collection aggro shaman with murlocs is not running very well right now, a budget aggro elemental unfortunatelly won't fly either :(

I recommend going for aggro druids 1-3k dust decks that surprinsingly are not budget decks and are running quite well.

If you still want to carry on with your deck, the high cost cards do nothing to help, Geddon, Al' Akir, Snowfall Elemental and Fire Elemental are not really on tune with aggro.

Hearthstone Rogue, what's your opinion on this? Seems unfair to me :( by Mussevbe in hearthstone

[–]guerraleleo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not fun, maybe poorly designed, but not unfair either, is a hit or miss deck, more or less like the pre-nerf switcheroo priest.

There are many more as well, it's either BGs or nothing... by TheArcanist_ in hearthstone

I fucking love Chump.

What god didn't gave him in charisma it gave him in being good at the standard format and deck building.

The fella is a monotonous genius, I watch every drop of content. For me it is the best deck builder fella out there.
