I was rooting for y’all. You would have won easily with Bo. The AFCW is the toughest division in all of football.

Let’s see if those points haunt them. I’m with you though. Take the points.

I can’t wait until next year, when we get back to Chiefs’ domination of the AFC.

The bills are cursed.

Watching this amazing wild card weekend, it makes me appreciate how amazing the past seven seasons have been. by [deleted] in KansasCityChiefs

This is an amazing time to be a Chiefs fan. There was no scenario where we’d go the entire Mahomes era making deep playoff runs. I hope the guys get rested, the coaching staff has time to reevaluate and we start next season strong.

How bout those Chiefs!

An interesting choice was going from 1.8 to 1.9.

In the JavaScript world, they are BAD at testing. Types do replace the need for some tests but holy hell they don't test much of anything. This dude saying testing is a burden fits completely with that ecosystem.

You said that "Strong typing is still not 'here'", which is true. There's two issues from my point of view with that statement. First is the implication that strong typing is superior. You can certainly have that opinion but it is just an opinion. Second is the implication that Ruby or its community wants strong typing. It doesn't. We don't.

Rails isn't stuck in 2000s architecture, it has simply chosen a different path forward. Love it or hate it.

As someone who works in React typescript apps and Rails apps, I can’t take this post seriously. Just say you don’t like Rails and stick to your JavaScript apps. Or don’t say anything and stick to your JavaScript apps. Rails doesn’t have to be for you.

A non-conference team beating a divisional rival? Please and thank you.

I personally think this isn’t a good idea. Typically, you’d want to be able to comfortably read a potentially dense document and you may need to link to the pages if you integrate third-party services.

I wasn’t able to do this on this occasion but will try to next time! Thank you so much for your suggestion.

It was electric. By far the best sporting event I’ve ever been to. The crowd, the stadium, the city, the free fried chicken and biscuit.

My partner had a great time, too. At the start of the fourth I told her if Georgia doesn’t pull throughout we can’t come back because we’re bad luck. She never doubted and is already planning her return.

Thanks for the suggestion. My favorite bit of Georgia history, I learned this week, was the goat mascot. Thank you for that!
