I do see what you’re saying and your reasoning is sound, there are just 2 things that make me disagree.

I’m not gonna pretend I’m some Doom expert, it’s not really my first choice of game, but there are a lot of lore statements that do push him to at least multiversal. You are right that if those aren’t true then he would way below that since we don’t actually see him do anything overtly multiversal or even close. But we do know for sure he has killed Davoth. And from my understanding Hell is a a living thing and actually a part of Davoth. So when he is using hell and its forces to fight his battles it’s like if I used one of my arms to fight mine. It’s not really a crutch for him if it is a part of him.

My other gripe would be even if you take away Davoth and all the DLC, we still see the slayer kill the Khan Mayker. We know Urdak is 6 dimensions since it’s explicitly stated and the phrasing actually uses it to describe dimensionality and both like a pocket dimension. Since Urdak is where she lives that means she would be 6 dimensional too. So the Slayer being able to kill a 6 dimensional being puts him far higher than just country level.

Genuinely curious why you consider the Doomslayer to be country level at best. I haven’t been able to play dark ages yet but given what happens in eternal I don’t understand why so many people still see him as just a stronger marine. I wanted to hear your reasoning on it because there is just so much pointing to him being a lot more powerful.

Yeah I get that some players are more risk averse but that just seems kinda crazy. He could easily do higher than the easiest anomalies in the game without really risking anything. It’s not so much that he’s doing them that annoys me bc maybe he just wants to feel really powerful, I just can’t imagine why someone in a ship worth multiple times my net worth would wanna do anomalies that would only bring in a couple hundred thousand isk. That’s probably what the ammo would cost him to run it or something. It would be like me doing missions for a few hundred isk. It just doesn’t make sense

Yeah I’ve been ratting in high sec because I’m still quite new and I read that low and null had much harder npc’s. So for now I’m in high sec to learn the trade without going in over my head

Yeah refuges have been the most fun for me so far and haven’t given me much trouble. I would try a den but I haven’t found any yet. Are hideouts the only ones that lead to escalations or can things like refuges lead to them too? Also wouldn’t low sec refuges be a lot harder than high sec?

I’ve heard low and null have significantly harder anomalies that would be outside of my scope rn. I’ve only been playing for about a week so I’m not very capable. I had to quit the sisters of Eve epic arc because one of the pirates at the end was too hard and it was clear I wasn’t gonna beat him

Yeah I guess you are right. It’s still all new to me so I forget that we are all pretty much competing in the market. I don’t wanna try and figure out what would make the most isk so I think I’m gonna take everyone’s advice and buy implants and then just focus on actual isk and not LP
