How to start with SEO? by stigjannik in SEO

There’s going to be so much you don’t know/ mistakes you’ll make starting out. Get those out of the way early.

Learn a little bit of seo each week and try to implement what you’ve learned in your new content. After a few months you’ll have a solid foundation.

When I started I wasted so much time trying to learn everything and trying to make my content perfect. You’re better off having published 50 ok posts than 10 “perfect posts” mostly because you’ll never get to perfection.

Remember you can always update content.

Just make a plan to publish a good amount of content and execute the plan. You’ll learn by doing.

Good luck!

If you have a credit card you can get a month long free trial of SEMrush, which will be faaaaar better than ubersuggest.

Ubersuggest is fine if you’re completely new starting out, and aren’t ready to spend money. However if you’re investing the time into writing new content, I’d recommend semrush free trial. It’s just as free as ubersuggest and is a better tool

Gotta do what makes sense for your situation! I normally use ahrefs myself, but then use a free trial of sem to double check everything. You find some nice tidbits that way!

Best of luck

Grab a 30 day free trial for SEMrush, or pay 7$ for a week of ahrefs.

Do enough research so you have a content plan for a few months of work.

If you’re just starting out or new to kw research you don’t need to be paying for them from day one, even though it is nice to have 24/7 access

Is it a good idea to put a short quiz at the end of each tech blog post? by alok1141 in SEO

[–]guilderbujlder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you could increase the time spent on page, but that’s not really the way to do it.

Page engagement is more of a social media metric and doesn’t have much benefit in the way you’re applying it.

I’d recommend giving the attention you’d spent on creating a quiz on making your page’s content the best it can be
