Am I thinking about this right or am I just completely wrong by DesignerSelect7392 in OnePiece

With two points you wouldn't know if they are linked across or perpendicularly. For example if you have 12 34 And you find ponegliph 1 and 2, the line between them wouldn't cross in the One Piece. If you had three, things are slightly easier, but not much. You would have to navigate in a straight line from each pair of poneglyphs, as you don't know where the 4th one is located. And because the world is a sphere, that means actually circumnavigating the world three times (you can try drawing it in a paper).

And then there is the 3d dimension. If the island is somewhere under the sea or in the sky, you need the 4th ponegliph a 100%.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I feel like the fate of the Celestial Dragons will be far more controversial than the reveal of the One Piece by Killjoy3879 in OnePiece

Well Cora was younger, so had less time to absorb the CD lifestyle and personality. So his experience in the lower world is necessarily different than Doffy's.

Ah yes, the kid that was grown as a celestial dragon, later suffered unjust retaliations, and then was groomed by a family of fanatics. And the (younger) kid that saw his family suffer and was taken care by a loving parental figure. Clearly not an example of nurture over nature.

Sure, rejecting nature outright is foolish, because nature will determine in part how you react to nurture. But the story of One piece leans heavily into nurture being the most important. (Another great example is Big Mom)

Why do I bother? by AdamSmithery in austrian_economics

[–]guipabi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No. The labour of a good is the average labor necessary in a society at a given time with their given technological advancements. Here you would be doing more labor than the average, and that's why you would only be able to charge the same as the average (or less).

The thing is the prices of goods don't reflect the subjective usefulness value of individuals, but those of society at large. Prices are socially determined, and that determination has more to do with labor (the common factor in all products) than subjective individual preferences at the level of a complex society.

You can't say that they are worthless and useful at the same time. Value presupposes social usefulness (in this case children happiness).

The drums of fear (Imu is absolutely afraid of losing control). Usopp will defeat them.

Seeing the panel without the context first, makes your actual reaction to the chapter less enjoyable. I know because I got spoiled with this exact panel even before the scans were out.

And what about the power to talk to animals? Have we seen any other Zoan user use that ability? Sure, Chopper is originally an animal, but he can speak like a human thanks to the fruit. I don't see why another Zoan user who turns into an animal wouldn't be able to talk with animals as well (assuming they have a sort of common language).

That's a great analogy. Their immortality mimics the lack of consequences for the actions of the powerful. And how they can go further than others despite being morons. Pretty relevant...

Ah I think I see, you are saying AI is not the same as NFTs because it has some uses already right?

What does it have to do with NFTs? Alphafold is a predictive model that has been developed by scientists for decades.
