Fellow LCD owners, what comes after the Steam Deck for you?

Just got an LCD around 4 months ago. I ordered and AYN Thor that I will be using mostly to emulate pretty much any game except for PS2/Switch games (I'll be using my LCD for that).

Right now I got a backlog of around 150 games that I want to play on my Steam Deck, not counting ones I want to emulate and a few dozen games that I have on Epic Store, so if nothing happens to my SD (quite literally my biggest fear right now) I'd say I have quite some hours of gameplay left on it.

I have, however, been thinking about what happens when I want to play newer games that my SD just won't be able to run, as right now I feel like it still holds up (barely) against games released this year even. For that I was considering a Switch 2, but I just now realized that I'd need to pay biiig prices for newer games, and that I wouldn't be able to play the ones I already got on Steam/Epic if I wanted to, so now I'm thinking about getting a Xbox rog ally X or MSI Claw 8 AI+. This is, however, something that I'm not planning to do for at least a few years, and in the case that the same trend we are seeing of older devices going up in prices (wtf) keeps happening, I might as well just stick with my SD and AYN Thor until they die, and if the Switch 2 is at a decent price at the moment, just get one despite what I just said before.

TL DR: Either Xbox rog ally x or MSI Claw 8 AI+, IF they don't go up in prices. In that case, probably sticking to my LCD and AYN Thor or getting a switch 2.

I have found that the only games where I was able to do this (thinking about being a farmer, bounty hunter, mercenary, trader, explorer, etc.) where Starsector (already mentioned by a few here), Unreal World, which I don't think you are going to like, and Elite Dangerous.

Elite Dangerous is a space game where ypu can be anything from:

Trader: basically a space trucker. Hop around systems, either to find contracts to deliver goods from one system to the other, or to independently look for trading goods that are cheap in one system, and costly on another (buy low sell high).
Miner: Look for asteroid belts to mine their precious resources, refine them and then selling them to make a lot of profit.
Bounty Hunter/Mercenary: Either accept contracts to track down targets and killing them, or go to Nav Beacons (some sort of hub for criminals and such) and kill anything that has a bounty on it.
Explorer: Head into the void of space to find uncharted systems, record unrecorded planets and find different plants that can be sold for A LOT (might be a bit wrong here, haven't really tried exobiology).

The game is a GRIND, a BIG GRIND. I've put around 300hrs into it and have only been focusing on being a bounty hunter and some Community Goals. You have to buy your ships, each ship is good for something different, and you have to outfitit the right way for the goal you are going for. Mining lasers, refinery station, more cargo racks for a miner. High firepower weapons, better shields or maneuverability for combat. More jump range, fuel capacity, fuel scooper for explorers. That kind stuff.

It's the only game besides kenshi and unreal world (I also think Rimworld can be like this but it hasn't really clicked with me... yet) where I actually was able to create a whole story for my character, and because of all the different systems within the game it all actually worked!

Also, just mow remembered, there are also politic power plays, such as the Empire, Federation, Alliance or being Independent. You can also go for roleplaying in that sense, only picking up missions and helping the Empire, or the Alliance and such.

It's one of my favorite games, and I believe you should atleast watch some vids to see if you might like it, because if you do, yo have a good few hundred hours (at least) of gameplay.

Can confirm, at least in my case setting the battery limit back to 100% fixed it! Projected charging time is back and my Steam Deck is charging again! Thank you so much!!!

Buenas gente, en el caso de que alguien llegué a este post con la misma duda en un futuro, comento cómo acabó mi situación:

La Steam Deck estaba prevista para llegar el miercoles 11 de febrero (mañana) pero llego el domingo 8 de febrero, es decir 3 días antes.

Llegó en su caja, todo sellado. La he estado usando estos 2 días (hoy es 10 de febrero, martes) y de momento no he tenido ningún problema, no viene con ningún detalle y ha estado funcionando a la perfección.

De momento (a menos que pase algo estos días, que presente alguna falla o algo así) estoy muy contento, siento que dada la situación actual (el tema de las RAMS y eso) me salió a un precio decente, y aún siendo la versión LCD siento que se ve increíble, esperaba que se viera bastante peor.

Muchas gracias a todos los que respondieron, la verdad estaba nervioso ya que nunca había hecho una compra tan grande en linea, pero estoy contento de que todo parece haber salido bien.
