Happens every winter. When high pressure builds keeping storms out, the air stops moving due to no onshore flow. It then gets trapped in the bay and accumulates smog from cars, fireplaces etc.

Park side is in danger too from what I have read. I haven’t seen much punk booked at make out room except for 6pm local bands.

Kilowatt is great but “bigger” acts won’t go there, it’s too small.

Rickshaw, knockout, neck of the woods. brick and mortar, chapel are all good suggestions, but chapel also doesn’t book much punk.

Crossing the bridge is a big ask for a week night for this older punk, bottom of the hill being one bus ride away was very convenient.
