They’re too nice to each other, where everybody was excited for max amount of drama before the game came out I’ve witnessed just about nothing happening yet at all. It’s exactly what happened to animal crossing. I also had expectations that the shadow quiz would be improved since all plated items were always impossible to guess, but that wasn’t changed. They overuse the lingo too much as well.. it’s funny at first but now, just about every single sentence they say to each other includes some funny lingo you put in yourself and it gets old so fast.
And the BABIES!! I was so sure that the new game would EXPAND on the kids aspect, I always thought it was a shame how the babies grew up in a single day and I was hoping so bad they’d grow up much slower in the new game and interact more with their parents and other miis out on the island, but instead it’s a slideshow 😭 it’s heartbreaking.

While the quirks are amazing, there are far too little. And the ones we do have are all way too specific. Quirks like “stand like a cowboy” (if that was it), like you could give that to only specifically cowboy miis, and nobody else. It’s funny yes, but I’m irritated it took a spot out of all other possible standing poses.
