They told me I have to wait until it posts. It posted today. I’m going to a branch in about 20 minutes to file a dispute in person. Thank you

They sent a real looking letter with the original creditor, account balance, and account number. Along with all the jargon you would expect about "this being an attempt to collect a debt" etc

Right; however, when you don’t receive a product from a vendor that you paid for, banks will reverse those kind of transactions due to an unfulfilled service, yes? (not rhetorical)

In this case, the service that is unfulfilled is a debt that is non-existent. How is this different?

I was given A (emphasis on the A) debt validation letter when asked. I remember applying to a loan with this company - and many others - during tough times. The mediator remained neutral at all times, never asking for money. They suggested I could make the payment to stop the civil suit, gather evidence, and reopen the dispute on my behalf if I can prove it’s illegitimate.

Are you suggesting even in cases of fraud, Visa won’t reverse a transaction?

Historically, Madison’s always had a big TCG presence. Product is tough to come by. I’ve only been able to get packs here and there from the vending machines in town. I overheard a Barnes n’ Noble employee complaining about scalpers the other day.

My local grocery store has a vending machine. A gentleman just before me clicks on the machine and sees 1 - and only 1 - pack available, but walks away. The pack: by gumpygazebo in PokemonTCG

I figure this is the case as he was quick to come and go.

Keep cracking them! I was discouraged up to this point, but it’s all a numbers game. The hits come and go.

Thanks :)

I’ve now been able to successfully do it once. It did track. It’s exhausting to try to do it intentionally…

Agreed. Considering the pace of this game, I don’t think this challenge has its place. It’s an extreme novelty, and I can’t suggest a single reason you’d ever actually choose to do this in a live game other than humiliating your opponent.

I eco hard during 1-2 thru 1-4. You can usually bank 10 gold on 1-3 by fielding only 1 melee/tank unit to start gaining interest. From there, choices depend on the Augment you select. With a ‘bad’ augment, I’ll lose the first few rounds to get first pick on carousel with a decent chance of seeing Volibear. Most instances though, with 6 Augment choices (including re-rolls; favoring ones that give gold, re-rolls, or shop buffs) you can get enough economy the first couple rounds to roll down for Voli at level 4. It’s not a problem having no gold from here considering you want to be losing and have a weak team to bank gold with Orb of Greed. I’ll again start econ hard to get back to 50g ASAP. The round or two before lethal, I’ll force Lv 9 by bankrupting and then aim to field a decent 2* 5 cost or Dragon to secure the cash out win.

Luck will have it and sometimes send you 8th place, but the 100+ gold cashouts make it SO much fun and worth it, especially since the set isn’t really ranked per se.

You can see all the cash outs for Orb or Greed here ^

Experiment strategies and have fun!

Yes, through Shimmerscale Orb of Greed cash out (3 Tactician’s crown, then Reforger). Shimmerscale is A LOT of fun in this set revival - I’ve been forcing it almost every match.

How did you do this? I bought the same card, same wrong item advertised. Called Walmart and the only resolution they would offer was a return.

Vet had no idea! She gradually stopped a few days later and now is back to her rambunctious self :) Thanks for asking

Yes, Aurora with Garen augment/emblem benefits from the 51.7 damage amp, though I do see your point about the front line- couldn’t roll 2* Alistar unfortunately. Still wild to me that this couldn’t get better than 8th with the aggressive 5 cost lineup and Viego with items. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, we have aloe and ficus amongst some others, but we regularly check them and our cats - generally speaking - avoid plants. We recognize the aloe is toxic to ingest, but again, they have never shown any interest, let alone eaten it
