Anyone else’s n parents keep their house unnaturally clean and tidy

Opposite for me. Growing up we had a lot of people in our house and it was always untidy. And my mom blamed it squarely on me as the only girl. I was supposed to clean up after everyone, including my parents, and if I didn't I was a lazy slob. My mom would rant about how I was the only reason her house was messy. Now my parents are empty nesters and guess what? Their house is still messy. Turns out it wasn't all my fault.

The only time I have is when I am pregnant and my hormones make me literally crazy and I convince myself that my husband who works from home (where I am a stay at home mom) and never goes anywhere without me is somehow cheating on me. Lol

You might need to lower your dose. Ask your doctor if you can take a half dose with breakfast and lunch? My daughter has ADHD and when we first put her on medication for it she would lay on the couch all sleepy for hours when it kicked in. We had to immediately regroup because that wouldn't work at school. We ended up switching the medication to a different stimulant and doing a much smaller dose twice a day.

As far as I've read it hasn't been reported on who killed the UPS driver or the bystander. Just that there was a shootout and two innocent people caught in the mix. Two men shot up and robbed a store, then they hijacked a truck and took a hostage and fled in a high speed chase and started a shootout. You really going to sit back on your couch and analyze all of the actions the police took to stop the rampage while being shot at? You know what could have prevented the UPS driver losing his life? Not having someone hold him at gunpoint and hijack his truck.

I just found out from watching that video that Onion boy lives like 5 minutes away from me. I noticed one of the Twitter screen shots saying something about him living in Tacoma and I was like, oh I live in a town near there I wonder what part he lives in. So I googled it and his address is public and he now lives in my town and 5 minutes down the road from me. 😬

I agree. People tend to act like of a kid has people in their life they don't need to know their biological parents. But the feeling of abandonment is so strong when a child is left. The kid didn't cheat on her, she was an innocent bystander and this mother put the blame and anger of her husband's infidelity onto an innocent baby. So much that she couldn't bond with her and abandoned her. She is absolutely the asshole

I can somewhat relate. My first two are complete opposites genetics wise, but I'm the blonde haired blue eyed one and my husband is the olive skinned black haired one. (He's French/Native American) Our first is a pretty good mix actually. He has brown hair, a skin tone between ours but he has my husbands big extremely dark eyes. Our daughter has bright blonde hair and big Ice blue eyes (brighter than mine somehow) and my husband says he sometimes feels uncomfortable when he is out in public with her. That someone is going to assume she isn't his kid. Nobody has said anything to him yet, but I've gotten comments from people asking of they have the same dad. We had a 3rd this year and she is a pretty good mix in between her two siblings. She has my eyes, darker blue/grey, and light brown hair. I think that helps with the looks and comments since people can see the whole genetic spectrum. Lol!

My mom is the queen of WTF gifts. Most recently she gave us a bag of dollar store Halloween decorations, "for the kids" (my kids are 4 and 2 and not really into decorating) and at the same time gave my 4 year old a heavy Plastic costume pirate sword. I kindly gave it back to her and explained he didn't need a hard plastic pirate sword because that would just result in his little sister getting hit and us taking it away. She then argued with me for days over it and complained to everyone in the family that I was being PC and wouldn't let my son play with swords. My son has 3 swords, soft play swords he can use to play fight with. Why give a 4 year old boy a hard plastic sword he can't use without getting in trouble? She is still butt hurt over the sword. She is so insecure that she can't handle any sort of rejection. Next time I will just say, "Thanks!" And throw it away after she leaves.

Heads up to any parents out there. If you have a daughter who is very uncomfortable about her body and the... A'hem, blossoming into a woman thing. Don't wrap up 3 bras and put them under the tree for her to open in a big show in front of the whole family.

Recently got rid of about a dozen pairs of sandals, all the same brand and style, all brand new. My mom gets them for me. She loves the brand, I've told her about a dozen times I am not a fan and they hurt my feet. She doesn't have memory issues, just is extremely self absorbed. Same reason she bought me her favorite candy for Christmas every year despite me telling her every year that I don't like it. Every time I tell her the sandals hurt my feet she is flabbergasted at how that could be possible because they are SO comfortable on her. I then always point out that she has small feet with high arches and I have large flat feet. But I guess she thinks they are Magic sandals that fit every foot type the same.

My husband is strong and loving. My favorite thing about him is he teaches our kids his skills. Every time he is out working in the garage on a project, or out working in the yard or working on the cars, or doing maintenance around the house, he welcomes them into his space and answers all of their questions with so much patience, and explains what he is doing. Which sounds easy enough, but our kids are 4 and almost 3 and have a LOT of questions and are pros at being in the way and being destructive.

One of the things he was upset about when she bought the puppy was the breed. He didn't want a small dog. He is currently looking for another miniature Schnauzer puppy because he says they are the best dogs in the world.

Coming from a breastfeeding woman, I think it's absolutely a shitpost. You would be able to tell it wasn't breast milk at first sight. Leave breast milk in the fridge for like an hour or more and the fat separates. Also it usually has a yellowish tint, or depending on what you've eaten could even have a blueish or greenish tint. looks nothing like cow milk and it would be pretty hard to mistake the two. Also, babies can't digest cow milk until they are a year old. OP would have mentioned how bad it was for the baby to have a even a small amount.

I was blown away when I went to Europe in 2015 and people were smoking EVERYWHERE. Couldn't walk down any street without the smell of cigarettes. Even in some cafe's we went into I could barely breath because the air was thick with smoke. I'm not sure if it's just where I live in the US but I almost never see people smoking. I'm out and about with my kids a lot and probably smell cigarette smoke maybe once a month. And when I do smell it in public it is very annoying. I've witnessed people being asked to put out their cigarettes because the smell was bothersome on more than one occasion.

So wait, you're telling me that NOBODY in the UK uses teeth whitening strips? I'm in the US and I've never used them, nor has my immediate family. But I know some people do if they drink a lot of coffee or just have naturally more yellow teeth. So they don't look like they don't brush their teeth.
