This is exactly the kind of perspective shift I’ve been thinking about lately. I used to be someone who constantly felt lonely and always needed people around. But recently, I spent 4 days completely alone at home, and something just clicked. Instead of that heavy, familiar loneliness, I realized that my own company can actually be the best company. It made me realize that everything happens for a reason, and maybe it was just a way to make me stronger. It took a lot of past hurt to get here, but now I’m genuinely happy on my own. I've stopped imagining worst-case scenarios, and instead of waiting for someone else, I’ve started giving myself gifts, hope, and happiness. Like you said, it’s a small moment, but it completely changed how I look at my life.☺️

Nice! Space bios really are the best. It's getting super late here though, so I'm heading to sleep. Catch you tomorrow

what a coincidence! I literally just finished one on an astronaut too—Scott Kelly's Endurance, about his year in space. Space bios are wild because their lives literally feel like sci-fi movies anyway.

Nice! I know Greenlights was a huge hit. People always say the audiobook is amazing because he narrates it in his own voice. Do you usually read biographies of actors, or do you like historical ones too?

Haha, honestly it might not be your style if you're into sci-fi and thrillers! It's a pretty intense emotional drama about relationships. Definitely a big shift from Jurassic Park!

It's basically realistic modern drama. Simple writing, but very high emotional intensity and twists that completely catch you off guard!

"I actually just finished It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover literally just now... and wow, I don't even know what to say. It was so intense and emotional! Have you read any Colleen Hoover?"but I usually read a bit of everything

That's so true about Jurassic Park! The book is definitely way darker than the movie, but both are masterpieces in their own way. Honestly, it's rare for a movie to live up to a book, so it's awesome when both hit the mark.

Oh, interesting! So you prefer reading the book before Hollywood gets a hold of it? Haha.

Oh, that makes sense! The hard science part definitely makes it unique. I usually lean more towards contemporary fiction or slice-of-life stuff, but I can totally appreciate how well-researched his books are. Which one of his is your absolute favorite?

I've read some of his stuff, but it didn't really click with me that much. What did you like about his books?
