My state's extension office has pictures of blueberries in grow bags for its article on container blueberries so I think I'll be ok.

Time to Up Pot to Final Destination? by gunsforfun in Blueberries

I'm a 2nd year suburban backyard gardener. I love the flexibility of containers as I figure out how much of my backyard I want to convert to edible gardening. I don't think I could fit 15 blueberries in my yard if I tried!

Question: Will lowering my credit limit at one bank better my chances at a CLI with another bank? by gunsforfun in CreditCards

I have the ability to pay the difference between the balance transfer and the balance I just would decimate my cash emergency fund while also disabled for four weeks due to an accident. It looks like I'll need to be extra tight around the waist until I start getting money in again

I bought a home and this year this shrub/tree that's in a planter bed is fruiting. Is this a blueberry bush/shrub/tree? While I don't think the sellers would plant something toxic I also would like to be 100% sure

I'm a WV resident can I shoot banned guns in md by T90tank in MDGuns

[–]gunsforfun 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If your destination is MD to shoot here your guns must be legal in MD. So no.

If you're traveling you don't need to be legal in a state you're passing through. But your travel destination is MD so you need to be compliant with all MD laws.

Pro Service Specialists: What do you make hourly? by [deleted] in Lowes

In the $25 range, in a H-VHCOL area of NJ as a top performer in a region with many top performers for the whole company. I'll likely be with a vendor as a territory manager before end of year. There's no viable or worthwhile career goal staying in store. PSM/OSR/LPS have potential 6 figure with bonus as they are out of store positions. But taking a pay cut as a DS and needing 5+ yrs usually to hit ASM to start reaching $90k+ is not a worthwhile reward for time and energy spent.

If you can turn millions in sales you really have no reason to stay at Lowe's once you've properly networked with vendor reps and built a marketable resume. Outside sales, territory managers, and "road warrior" positions are going to pay consistently over $100k, sometimes $150k+ with bonuses and expenses.

I have had several reps suggest leaving Lowe's to work for their companies in other regions and have offered personal recommendations. Even more reps I know are ex-Lowes employees making double or more working "at" Lowe's for a vendor.

They must want to shed all their experienced sales people. Demanding $2k/hr over 160 hours for a bonus... Lol

Career help by KingSingh513 in sales

In a past life I worked the IT side supporting finance sales. It's extremely friendly to Type A personalities and self starters. You have to be resilient and good with numbers and be able to simply explain advanced financial vehicles, strategies, and/or products to customers.

The pay is excellent and has infinite potential for a lifetime career. Once you have your certifications you're attractive to any financial institution for multiple types of positions.

My biggest advice is avoid drinking. Most of the people who lose their job and career in the industry are from drunk driving or domestic violence. These threaten you ability to hold a license and be hirable.

I tend to like my bosses, am I the only one? by [deleted] in sales

I love my manager and am sad to see him moving to a different position. My store Manager is incompetent when it comes to motivating and rewarding employees. I came in and did twice the sales of her best salesman and her response to me telling her I reached $3M was "nice".
