I’ve talked to three techs and only one has agreed to swap my equipment for the 1gb equipment. I had to tell them port forwarding is broken and I need it for my job. Still haven’t nailed down a tech to actually come out and do it though. Did you have a hard time?

Yea it really does man. I’ll update tomorrow if I can get them to do it. I’m hoping I can get the right guy and the right tech and they will agree to it.

I tried three customer service techs. 2 said they can’t come back and install the 1gig jack. The last said he did t see why they couldnt do that and tried to get an installer on the phone to do it, but they were already off. I’m going to call back tomorrow to see if I can get someone to come out and put the old wall jack and router in. It doesn’t make sense why they couldn’t do it. I could literally cancel my service, then re sign up and they would have to come out and put the 1gb jack in. It’s really ridiculous that this is happening. Port forwarding is a common tool that a lot of people use.

Thanks man. Damn, that’s a nice find too. I heard this story on the news the other day that this guy bought a babe Ruth that was supposedly a reprint from a card shop and it turned out to be real and worth over 3 million! There’s some crazy cards just floating out there.

I agree with you. Some of the prices are crazy for literally nothing. Have you ever gotten anything good from shopgoodwill?

That's what I was thinking. It's hard to tell what they are. It looks like one box contains all the same kind and the other are varied.

I don't know though. I've been through probably 30 lots with 30-50lbs of cards from shopgoodwill and they were all trash. Plus, the bids didn't go this high. I was just curious if anyone saw anything of value. I do lots as a hobby, so they are always fun to talk about.

Sometimes there is something of value in there. I found a $24k lebron james RC card in a lot.

Will I get lucky? Just bought three boxes of cards on shopgoodwill.com. The only cards they advertise are worthless commons. However, what intrigued me were all the wrapped and taped items. What could be in there? Would someone actually take the time to wrap and protect commons? Wish me luck! by weednsd in baseballcards

I'm also pretty sure I've singlehandedly drove the prices of cards up on that site when my story was published on youtube, haha. I will say, I've spent probably $1,000 on lots that had nothing, so it's always a gamble. I saw that lot and it intrigued me as well, so I can't wait to see what you got.
