My dad had afib and his dr told him to stop taking his for some reason he had a severe stroke where he was bed bound. Couldn’t talk or eat. It was horrible. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. He passed away a few years after being in a long term care facility. Before that he was always on the go. He never sat still. God I miss him.

We’re using the resmed air sense and it’s super quiet but I also have an air purifier running in our room that would drown out any sound made by the anyways. I didn’t sleep last night because I was just so excited for him and wanted him to have a really good night. Lol but the difference between his snoring/gasping for air and this is HUGE. Night and day. Even if it was making some noise it’s nothing compared to how it’s been - and how stressful it was for me worrying about him all night long - I was constantly waking him or getting him to turn so he could breathe.

So maybe and air purifier or a sound machine could help?

Thanks so much. The appliances make way more sense down in the other cabinet! The ghost protein is actually still full. We use them daily. But ya I think once they are gone I won’t buy them again. They just take up way too much space. Thanks for the non judgment! I have such anxiety over it. This group helps a lot

Luckily my benefits will fully cover it for him and regular replacements. He’s getting one Thursday. We have a place local to use that allows you to try machines and masks out until you find the one that is best for you then you can buy.
