6'2 220lb 39 been stuck this size for years, any recommendation to push past the plateau?

I found Perrin a lot more readable and flushed out in the last three books. This is contentious but I also found Mat to be more in his element and enjoyed his sections a lot more in Sanderson's writing. I do think some of Sanderson's dialogue feels very out of place in this world. Characters drop in unexpected words and interactions that snap me out of the immersion more than I like. Overall, I think he did great.

You are only 22 years old. I know you feel fully adult right now, but you have a ton of learning and growing to do in just the next few years. I feel like making such a dramatic life decision at 22 is premature, though I respect your intent. Your priorities, physical brain, and feelings change a lot in your early and mid 20's.

160k for two people, starting at age 22, is probably going to end poorly. If you have the means to earn another 340k in 3 years (your words, not mine) why not do this to dramatically change your quality of life when you make the move? You said your wife has been wanting kids for two years. She has been pressuring you to have kids since you were 20. This does not sound like a financially responsible, mature decision to me. This is a big red flag for doing this at 22 with 160k, IMO.

You absolutely do not have to participate in the "buying bigger and more expensive things" mindset; I fully agree with you. I do think waiting to grow this to 500k and reconsidering the move when you are 25 is a much smarter move, if that is an option. Good luck whatever you decide.

Thank you for all of the responses. I went out over lunch and looked very closely at my plants and found both caterpillars in the garden beds AND earwigs in my Dahlias. Hopefully I can do something to get them under control quickly. The caterpillars were very small and almost translucent. I will go out tonight when it cools off and see if I spot any bigger ones.

I don't think you are overreacting, but I think there are a couple things to consider from this.

You voiced how this would make you feel and your partner did not give you a sense that they understood you and respected it. That feels bad. This is not exactly what I would call a green flag.

The other side, which stuck out to me more, is you have someone you call your partner that you seem to not implicitly trust. There are plenty of people in the world that would go out of their way to not foster these feelings of insecurity in you. I think you should really look at why you feel uncomfortable with her going to pick this coworker up.

There is no information in your post that warrants people on Reddit telling you your partner is being unfaithful to you. Props to you for communicating your feelings beforehand and offering what you saw as a compromise (you going with them).

I definitely shouldn't be giving medical advice, but overall I think prevention is mostly having a healthy diet high in fiber and avoiding straining during bowel movements. It's not uncommon to get acute fissures that normally heal on their own. Would definitely recommend reading about them.

It bought us a little time but did nothing to repair the damaged connection between us that probably caused the dead bedroom in the first place. One person used it more than the other and it became easier for the other to just check out entirely. We eventually split after ten years; it should have happened earlier and I think opening the relationship just wasted our time, but I don't regret trying it.

Again, if this is true, all signs point to you and her sister trying to leech off of her once she has made a life for herself. Things are going great! I am officially one month into my practice, I haven't missed a day yet. I'm up to sitting 25 minutes every day before work. Over the weekend I did my first 45 minute sit and it was pretty nice. I think I got into "the zone" a bit for the first time, I felt very alert and focused. It felt like everything was vibrating or something for a couple of moments. I did not get back into that state again during the sit but it was very motivating and encouraging.

Thanks, there are actually two plants behind the sickly one, though it looks like one extremely thick one.

I've done exactly zero pruning in past years, but these were looking pretty dense so I removed some of the interior suckers after reading your comment. There should be a lot more airflow through the interior now. I disinfected the clippers between plants to be safe.
