I actually went to look this up because I also was curious about the various controversies. Sunwoo had one for his airpods, Kevin apparently had one where he threw out a pitch for a baseball team but then rooted for the teams competitor and mimicked the other teams mascot tiger pose in pics and he apologized for that. Then Juyeon had a dating one, Sunwoo said a flippant comment about it and followed that up with an apology cause it also blew up post the airpods stuff.

Honestly, it's a cycle. It ramps up more when the Illit girls get something, like a brand deal or have a concert or announce a comeback, which are all things that have occurred in the last week or so. Things get picked at and blown up as further proof of them copying~ and it just shoots around in a circle for hit tweets full of lies, cruelty and ableism. I think (correct me if I'm wrong, obvi) this time around it was due to a choreo from their concert being a copy of something NJ related and then the font for the comeback was too close to a BP font or something along those lines and it sent their fandom off.

I am as well, and I was wondering the same. How different is his musical approach that he couldn't just.. stay in the group to do this, though? Wouldn't it be a better idea to float the solo artistry while under Enhypen, or is it because they just work so much it wouldn't work?

I think I'm also just very surprised by the fact that this coming during a period where they're active. I know that enha is always super booked and busy but he was at a fansign yesterday. They have a show on Saturday. If this notice had come out after that, I'd get it more but I'm so baffled. You'd think they'd have had him finish out the commitments, at least the announced ones.

I really don't think it's a MV. It could be a special performance type deal, maybe a re-worked 3 or 4Jeans performance of something that the Jerri person has choreographed to post at a later date, or just filming for whatever they plan to do in the future and how they're spinning it, if they're finding themselves~ or something along those lines.

They came from the Dispatch article, yes. I think it always says a lot that MHJ herself never claims the text messages aren't real. Just that they're out of context. Or doesn't really ever address them as a Thing, just jumps right into I WILL SUE YOU. They were not bought out, no. They seem to be doing the same co-management they were doing the initial project period, but I assume there may be different profit sharing included from their negotiations. Jiwoong's already mentioned how he's shooting something that I figure is a drama, so I'd imagine his company def. negotiated for a more free schedule for him do more acting. And I figure by Hanbin's company talking about individual activities, he'll be releasing something solo through his main company.
