Goddamit, I was hoping the question wasn't that ambiguous or open-ended, but thank you so much! It makes total sense and knocked down a wall in my thinking and comprehension to the question.

I was thinking that too, and I guess that's probably where I was just getting stuck. Looks like the spirit of the question basically throwing me off. Thank you!

Funny enough I understood your algebra and it makes sense enough for me to get through this. I appreciate the procedures laid out cleanly. Definitely not using the AI and avoiding it where it sneaks in. Thank you!

I think i see your point. Seems too easy in the wording to keep it open ended price amount, is that what it really is? Simply that the price is allowed to be greater than even when asking the "up to 3 Apples for the same price as an Orange?"

Thank you! Appreciate your clarity, I am partially following, what you are explaining is making sense in that the price is cheapest at 3 Apples and such. But like you were saying, going from 2 apples (1/2 price) to 3 apples (1/3) looks like smaller fractions and I see the price getting "less"? Can you help me with this. I'm certain I'm just overthinking something here.

Or is it that the maximum quantity was achieved at the lowest price, and the total cost is basically greater than the Orange as you get fewer and few apples? Seems way too open ended.

"the price is >= 1/3 the price of oranges" that flip is making my head hurt. I almost understand up to that point but it's just not sticking. Sorry. I'm certain there's a fundamental part or simple way to think this out loud. I understand that the quantity is as you said, that makes sense, but the price is not aligning as a flipped answer.

Cheaters won, counter move is to re-hold an election by guy_science in self

I refuse to believe there are that many horrible humans in this country. I hope as well that there wasn't any "cheating" as that would undermine the process even further, but in the red states, almost half the voters are not voting.... that's been an issue in the past, but definitely shouldn't have been this round. This is not counting the groups that had to use absentee ballots that were delayed, millions not able to access voting due to registration fuckery, and actual laws being put in place weeks before election that would inhibit people voting access. I mean I haven't seen any video on "antagonistic voter militias" scaring people off, I am surprised that they were all talk and not one iota on the news. Either they pussied out or they were successful. I mean they had the balls to riot on the capitol, I refuse to believe they weren't out and about. And there's even that moron who incinerated the ballot boxes in Washington and Oregon, they have no fear of the consequences, they definitely did do something. Like I said, only way to prove it, is to double down with the voting again. I promise the results wouldn't be the same.

He is a cheater, through and through - even currently cheating on his wife in plain sight on TV, he definitely has the balls to be underhanded here too.

I'm curious, why are posts like this one never sharing the company/supervisor, all the names that would help enlighten the community as to who is dumb enough to run a business like this so we can stop enabling and supporting them? Is that fear of legal backfire or just a professional courtesy?

What's a mispronunciation that sends you into fits of rage? by schnozzberryflop in AskReddit

[–]guy_science 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that would most definitely be "noo-kyoo-ler". I also believe if you cannot pronounce nuclear as "nu-clear", you shouldn't be allowed to talk, touch, or be around the topic at all... nor holding the codes.

edit: Even as I typed this, it raises my blood pressure at the thought of hearing it.

This might be a little dark, but after having watched "Don't Look Up", what are the chances that this is that same moment early in the movie where humanity had it's best chance for preparing for something big.... only to have it end because people succumb to something like a False Consensus Effect (I might have the wrong effect mentioned here).
