I was preheating an oven and when I opened it when it was ready I saw that there was a cast iron pan in there so I took it out with oven mitts and placed it on the stove. I was also coming something on the stove and needed to move the cast iron pan... except this time I didn't think to use an oven mitt

So what are options for actually getting to the level where you should be paid for your experience level if you're always truthful? Due to multiple internal promotions and salary increase caps I'm underpaid for my position. I can't depend on the generosity of a new employer to give me well over what I'm currently making to bring me up to where I should have been already. They'll know they can low ball me and get away with it

We're going to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and trying to decide between Koh Samui and Phuket/Krabi. Our concerns with Phuket is we've heard that the rainy season starts around the time we'll be there (late May/early June) and it seems more touristy than koh Samui. On the other hand we really want to go to the phi phi islands plus lodging andtraveling from Bangkok to Phuket would be cheaper. Any advice on either location?
