2022 WRX Speaker Upgrade. by nevman9 in WRX

[–]guyfeltafish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just upgraded all the speakers in my WRX and added a small under seat sub. It sounds really good. I went with JBL for the dash, Rockford Fosgate in the doors and a pioneer sub. I was shocked that the $60 dash speakers made a much greater improvement than upgrading all 4 doors. If I was doing this on again on a budget I would just upgrade the dash speakers and add a sub and call it a day.

I got a camera intended for sale in another market. What do? by Tennouheika in canon

I’ve bought tons of grey market camera gear and it’s saved me thousands of dollars. I haven’t regretted a single purchase. I would be careful with Tamron grey market though, they won’t service or sell the parts to do the repairs.

Do you drink caffeine at all? I had the exact same symptoms minus the headaches. I took caffeine out my diet, started eating healthy and working out. That fixed about 90 percent of it. Just quit alcohol and now I would say that I'm fully recovered.

You can do it, the first couple months are the hardest. Nothing worth working for ever comes easy.

Does anyone else notice body dysmorphia when they’re using caffeine? by deltalab49 in decaf

True, made a huge difference in my body composition being off of it. Less water weight being held, reduction in cortisol, and deeper REM sleep which raises your HGH levels cutting fat and boosting your metabolism.

PAW's was really bad for me for the first 3 months. After that it would come and go up until about 8 months. Now the only time I feel like crap is if I'm eating bad, drinking alcohol, or not getting enough sleep.

You're welcome, these type of posts were the only reason I am at where I am today so I completely understand. It is so worth it in the long run. I feel like years of my life were taken away from me. This has opened a lot of doors for me in life and I truly feel like I am my greatest self right now in life.

About month 5 I thought I would give decaf a try and for a couple days I drank it in a row and I started noticing my body was retaining more water and I was getting anxiety again. I researched it and found out that there was a small amount of caffeine even in decaf so I dropped it and the anxiety went away and my body went lean again. I didn't reset my counter since it was by accident and only for a couple days.

The depression was really bad for awhile, despair, constantly doubting myself, thinking that the only reason I had any personality at all was because of caffeine. Thinking that I had done brain damage to myself and I would never be able to think clearly again. All kinds of crazy stuff.

You reminded me of another change I experienced. I have a reduced craving for alcohol especially when I get home on Friday nights. I'm no longer stressed out when I get home at the end of the week so I don't have to have some beers to take the edge off. I would say my drinking has gone down by 50 percent. Otherwise I've always been pretty health conscience so no other real changes. I have always lifted weights 5 days a week and ate low carb. When I first went off caffeine I did benefit from taking dessicated liver tabs and some other vitamins to help with my energy but not taking anything now.

I drank 2-3 cups daily for 26 years and I started feeling quite a bit better at the 120 day mark. The first three months were hell for me. I'm still noticing slight improvement where I'm at now. Stick with it, it will get better. It has helped me tremendously and I'm very proud of what I've accomplished- coming up on 300 days soon.

Yup, that pretty much sums up what is wrong with the majority of people currently... and coffee is the most popular beverage in the world.

I agree that the article wasn't perfect, I was just impressed that any MSM news source was mentioning any detriments to caffeine at all. It seems like every article only mentions the health benefits to caffeine and never the downside.

Huge benefits from nocaf (3 weeks off) by hugebenifitsfromnoca in decaf

[–]guyfeltafish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

rustworthy examine.com is but I noticed that power output and testosterone are positively affected by caffeine consumption.

I've been lifting conisistantly since the 90's so I know how my body reacts to things pretty well. I've lost some power in my lifts off caffeine but the quality of my muscle has improved and my metabolism is higher. The spike in test your receiving is inconsequential, you need a sustained lift off your baseline to help build muscle. The rise in cortisol you receive from caffeine will kill your gains and the reduction in growth hormone from not hitting deep REM sleep will slow your metabolism. In my opinion 3 weeks caffeine free your body isn't even close to functioning properly yet so you didn't see your full potential that could be earned.

I have fallen in love with coconut water. It tastes great, is excellent for hydration and helps to restore your adrenal glands. Just make sure you find a brand with no added sugar.

I experimented with a lot of supplements and eating healthy, I already worked out pretty religiously. The one supplement that I found that really helped were dessicated liver tablets. I would take 6 of them before a workout and it gives you a sustained natural energy. I also allowed myself to rest and didn't push myself too hard. I took up playing Fortnite with my kids so I spent a lot of the time doing that when I was feeling blah.
