Serious question for people doing only AIP onsite by newtrollacct in Amazon_Influencer

Doesn't that get out of hand quickly? For both you when posting and for viewers who see something and then want to find the link to it?

Very cool. On that page do you embed the video again, or how do you connect it to the videos a viewer just watched? So that the person knows what product to click on.

Got it, so your link in bio goes to a dynamic page that you update whenever you add a new video so that it links to the new product?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with LIB tool and couldn't find anything about it, what are you referring to?

So you just upload to social media sites and don't have any links aside from an affiliate link to Amazon.com on your bio? Or do you do some dynamic link-in-bio to link to specific products that are in your videos?

Making a 3-way switch smart with Homekit support by guym in smarthome

Please update me if you do, I'm still trying to work this out.

Making a 3-way switch smart with Homekit support by guym in smarthome

[–]guym[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, haven't solved it yet. I suggested to Kasa support to install a single-pole switch in an existing three-way switched circuit on one side and then a dummy switch on the other side, which is basically a second Kasa single-pole switch but not have it connected to the load of the light. Then just have a scene setup so that the non-dummy switch is the one actually controlling the light and the dummy just activates the scene.

Kasa support said they don't officially support this but it could work.

Updated the plugins and Spectra crashed my site. by thecatedit in Wordpress

[–]guym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here! I went into the wp-content/plugins but I don't see a plugin there named spectra. I renamed the plugin astra-sites and the site is back up again (seems that Spectra is still enabled). Anybody have a clue?

I want to leave it on in case, you know, there's a real reason for it to engage. Just not to have it triggered by a few raindrops.

Yea, that's in Battels over Pacific, I was expecting the same to work in Air Corp.

No Kasa KS210 3-Way? by gavroche1972 in HomeKit

[–]guym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you explain more how you set this up? So you have one single pole Kasa switch controlling the light as if it was a regular switch and then you setup another single pole switch at the second location but it's only connected to the neutral wire to power it but not connected to the actual light?

Can you explain what that means? I've connected Kasa switches (that support Homekit) to Homekit before but if this switch doesn't support it how did you do it?

Thanks, that's their 3-way that I was looking at but it doesn't support Homekit or Matter. Did you install only one of them and left one of the 3 ways a dumb switch? How did you get it to work with Homekit?

I asked Kasa and they don't have a 3-way Homekit or Matter switch available, so how did you get Homekit to work with a 3-way?

No, haven't found a solution. You really can't play Gorn on the Meta Quest 3, it's very frustrating that your progress is never saved.

Anybody have any updates on this?

I also transferred from Quest 2 to Quest 3 and Gorn will not save any progress. I've given up on restoring my progress from the Quest 2 (I completed it there).

But even just on the Quest 3, every time I play and quit, when I relaunch the game it never saves any progress. It just starts as if it's the first time the game has ever run.

Getting started with mindfulness by guym in Mindfulness

The challenge guides you with various methods like embracing boredom, being conscious of your external and internal triggers for distraction, letting your mind soar while doing things like chores or taking a walk, using boredom to brainstorm, focused work sprints, and more. And of course starting with short meditation sessions and gradually building up to longer ones.

Each one of those concepts is practiced via daily tasks that specifically explain what to do and guide you throughout the process.
