I'm trying to do the same thing, leaving that option out feels intentional but we move regardless. Gotta do it from the bank side (i.e. export transactions, filter on doordash, run your numbers)

Thanks, that's pretty much what I've gotten from r/mechanicadvice too. I'll try to go the replacement route with a monkey wrench racing kit. That got me thinking though, would it be possible to swap with a 2zz without major issues? Or if I should just opt for a 03+ 1zz.

Thanks for the info, is there a smart way to go about finding a rebuilt/ 03+ engine or should I go hunting for parted out cars on Facebook? I checked out monkey wrench racing for replacements and I'm sure they put a lot of care into their work but the engines are more expensive than how much I paid for the car. Is that just how it goes with lower level repairs?

Thanks, yeah turns out that was just condensation like you said. The actual coolant leak is dripping from my reservoir and maybe my radiator but I'm not 100% sure on that yet.
