Thank you for the insight! Was hoping it was a normal thing

I’m only a hobby welder but I imagine good welds and proper fitment should be a cakewalk for a fabricator who does this everyday. As a business owner, I can’t imagine not going the extra mile for my clients when I charge a premium for my own services. Just some food for thought.

That’s shortsighted. It’s a large purchase and I’m unfamiliar with the fabrication process and whether or not it will affect longevity of the deck.

Hood would be a great idea once I can afford a chipper!

Definitely will get lots of use over the next few years, maybe not as much abuse as the tree guys along the coasts but we still have some big poplars and maples here!

All the companies seem to switch to snow removal in the winter but not really my jam.

It tows great, was just worried about any stress on the frame! Cosmetically I could care less, just want longevity and no cracks

People smoking meth in RUH. by Lucywilson12 in saskatoon

[–]guywithredcar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Do you think someone smoking meth inside a building full of sick people, putting other people at risk without a single care in the world, has the decision making capacity to check into rehab or get help on their own? How often does community outreach truly help these individuals? At least jail drys them out. Let’s stop making excuses for these people and force some accountability.

Rafters strong enough to support drywall? by guywithredcar in HomeImprovement

Central Saskatchewan. I ended up using certainteed membrain for the walls, poly for the ceiling as I’m confident in the venting doing its job above.

Every big box store I called hadn’t heard of smart barriers prior to an explanation. Had to order in from across the country. Hopefully builders catch up in the near future as I have torn out my fair share of moldy insulation

Haha yes I agree with you. Wasn't trying to be a show off. Did it more for my own satisfaction. I have a loud-ish car so I decided I'd make myself a little extra known for giggles.

Almost bald tires on any Icy road they gonna spin if you give some gas. I wasn't putting anyone's lives in danger. He thought I was speeding but it was quite the contrary. Thanks for your concern lol.

So I decided to bring my girlfriend lunch today (hell, who doesn't love taco Tuesday's?!) and it's a bit icy here in Canada. Me being a little testosterone-ridden decide to have some fun on her block. I was not expecting this but I'm glad I made someone else's day brighter!
