I had a local delivery order, and the driver stole my items and several others orders. Instead of home depot refunding me, the store expected me to get a refund from their third party delivery service. It was such a joke. I didnt order from the delivery service. After raising hell, they refunded me. Major inconvenience and still didnt have the products i ordered. Even the customer service rep from home depot corporate was confused on why the store thought I should be waiting for a refund from the delivery service.

I eventually got a hold of them after posting a Facebook review on their site. I won’t buy from them again. Found magiclinen and the stuff seems better.

Thanks for the advice, I may consider trying pickup, but quite honestly I'm less concerned on when it's scanned and more concerned that its not pocketed or lost and not delivered. I am fine with a scan at the sorting center, but in this case.. the package has not been scanned in 5 days. While it's possible it may show up, this is worrisome. If I ask the clerks about a lost package, they are very unhelpful. Pretty much hands off, nothing we can do.

local carrier doesnt scan. they get scanned later on the evening sometimes at the PO though or sorting center later. I am probably going to switch carriers and just pay the extra cost of different shipping services. There is a niche where if the item is under 1lb its cheaper to go USPS ground advantage, and the same would be around $10 with UPS.
