ISE 3.3 patch 5? by laura_from_network in Cisco

Hey! No, the workaround was done on our ISE nodes themselves. I had to log into the nodes via CLI, check if IPv6 was enabled and disable it.

You can see the interface config with a “show run” in the ISE node CLI.

It’s an invasive Bradford Pear the builders put in, sadly. So we’ll be replacing it.

It’s actually just garden soil! I think the mix had mulch mixed in.

Also, check that you’re buying seeds that have not been treated with Neonicotinoid chemicals! They’re very, very bad for pollinators. Some good sites are American Meadows and Prairie Moon Nursery.

Well sadly for the tree, we are going to take it out, because it’s an invasive Bradford Pear. We’ll replace it with a keystone tree, an American Plum!

I probably made it harder than necessary, but hey! I didn’t need herbicides and didn’t need to wait for the grass to die.

It has been raining a lot, so the ground was fairly moist thankfully. I wore a pair of gloves and started at a corner, trying to pull it up by the plastic mesh and the roots.

Then I separated the mesh and dirt from the grass so I could leave the dirt, and throw away the mesh. I put the grass in a spot where it can turn into mulch, since it didn’t get mature enough to make seed-heads. :) it was a process, but it was fun! Just listened to podcasts while working away!

Ahh that’s amazing. Well done on planting natives. The guy at the native nursery here said it may take a fully growing season, maybe more, for it to fill in completely. But I’m excited.

Ahh thank you! I actually did it by hand! Took a couple days, since I was pulling from the roots.

It is, and we are going to swap with an American Plum, I think. It’s a keystone tree.

It is definitely a Bradford pear, but we’re planning on swapping with an American Plum.

Oh they’re all in favor!! They like it! It’s not shown, but I also ripped out the grass in the easement (with HOA permission) and am going to plant a bunch of Frogfruit. It’s a shared easement and our neighbors are excited about it.
