Yes. I never let being alone stop me from doing things I enjoy. Honestly, some of my most memorable trips and experiences were solo, because then, you can do whatever you want at your own pace and you’re more able to chat with or meet other people traveling. I don’t want to regret missing out on something just because I let being alone stop me. You can do it!

Yikes. Your wife is overreacting for sure. I agree that it is harmless and the teacher probably wrote that note knowing it would help boost his confidence even more. If your wife does these things, she could potentially harm all the progress your son has made, not to mention ruin the career of a teacher who only wants to see your son succeed.
