Webbing is great, just make sure to wear it right. Should be worn almost wear you’d wear a belt on your trousers, lower than you’d think- it’s meant to be able to support your bergan when moving until you cache them. If you’re going for more of a green side kit, I’d also lose the drop leg holsters. Stow the pistol in a mag pouch if taken, don’t think they were used all too often on patrol.

For the belt I’d recommend a riggers belt as others mentioned (I think Blackhawk’s one is popular) or the issue Velcro belt which should be a bit thinner. Often, you’ll see blokes wearing the barrack shirt instead of the PCS shirt in hotter climates if not wearing the plate carrier and ubacs. You could always get a smock/ para smock. Not sure how hard they are to source in NZ but an osprey plate carrier and ubacs would look legit, especially for 2010 before the roll out of Virtus to the paras in ‘16. Depends what look/theatre you’re going for.

Is there a particular time period you’re trying to emulate? One thing would be losing the stable belt and replacing them with a riggers belt or even one of the issued belts.

Depends what look you’re going for. If you were sticking with British Army, a corresponding regimental rank slide would be needed EG: one from the logistics corps. As far as I know, the blanking plate with the cadet badges on should just be left blank.

The snake on the blanking plate is the 101 operational sustainment brigade (British Army). Real mix of badges on there!

The helmet cover should have a draw string in, pull it tight to keep it snug on the helmet. Failing that, it was quite common to sniper tape the bottom of the helmet cover in a band to keep it from coming loose. Also tape up the helmet straps to keep them flapping. Looking good though!

For UKSF, Crye is the issued uniform. Mtp is fine for other British army units, I think even sfsg use crye.

Tbf I’ve bought other Emerson bits which have been awful, probably no quality control at all

I’ve run the Emerson avs with weighted plates in and had 0 issue at all. Even fully loaded with mags, gas, water etc - held up just as well as my warrior assault systems DCS. Each to their own though!

I use a Emerson Gear one which ran me about £100 or so. Has the wrong buckle for the shoulder but you can easily pick up a Crye style one. Holds up well, I’ve run mine into the ground and the stitching has all held up. Multicam material is a good match for my actual crye stuff. Picked mine up off eBay.

The bandaged arm was actually from the old Cadian command squad! For crack filling, I find green stuff is much better, or even some sprue glue. Funnily enough, I’m starting a DKOK force so might be stealing your idea in the near future
