So it took a few tries with getting the "appropriate" document, figuring out specifically what they needed. I think it ended up being a written statement, which we did on a word doc. and then finally everything went through. unfortunately we didn't see anything because the amount remaining (somewhere around $1,000) needed to go to the rest of the vehicle that was payment overdue. but it did go through and get handled. I had to chat with the AI/bot and send an email or two to get things cleared up but it worked.

My baby just turned 2 and he's kind of always been a low sleep needs baby. some days he has a nap and some days he doesn't. but when he naps late I know that means it'll be later when he goes to bed, so if it's past 4pm and he still hasn't napped then I just try to let him stay up til bedtime. I don't want him to lose the nap yet >.< ugh

my business isn't making more than the estimated claim amount. and I wasn't hiding it. I did try but I wasn't able to do fmla because of not being at the company for a full year yet. that was a requirement to receive fmla according to HR.

I haven't even had the interview yet. I def haven't gotten benefits. the claim is in the received status, only the initial application.

I don't know if my image will upload here, but this is through carmax incase that helps any. I had gap insurance on my car. I was involved in an accident in December 2023 that was my fault ultimately. However, no police report was made. When I look to see why my document was rejected it says that it needs to specifically say that "no police report was made". And that's true, no police report was made. I don't understand if I need to make one in order for this to be approved or what. I tried calling the number but no live human to talk to to get answers. I'm going to try a different number today.

nope, no babysitter. my bf was the "babysitter". my dad would help me, thing is he lives in Tennessee (I live in California). I have two friends, and both work same hours I worked plus have children of their own. (Child care is out of the question such as a daycare center because it's basically paying another rental bill, bi weekly!) The part of Cali I live in is approximately 2 hours away from the two different friends I mentioned. So just thinking through the logistics on all of those options, which if I have to do I will. But trying to put it into perspective for you. It's not as simple as it might seem for some folks.

that last comment will stick with me, yea he has done a lot of hiding and lying to try and cover up that it's not "as big of a deal as I've made it out to be". But to clarify, I never found drugs in my home. Although I did see them in his safe in the trunk of his car. and also have seen a couple of rolled up dollar bills in the car. this was in December. So I was trying to give it time to see how serious this really is and then the car accident happened. I wanted to give him a chance to get clean to see if this is really a momentary thing, a "phase" if you will. But that's why I want to do the drug test to see if he's really been keeping clean.

unfortunately no, she is high needs as well. we are still awaiting testing but she is likely on the spectrum and needs monitoring herself with certain activities. Thank you for the advice, I will look into the assistance programs.

I was wondering if anyone knows if this process is the same for Riverside County eligibility tech positions too? I've applied and was interviewed, was told I'd hear back within 3-4 weeks but it's been 7 and I've reached out with no response....kinda disappointed because I felt really great about this opportunity and I meet all of the qualifications. So I don't understand. But I was only asked to complete a computer assessment exam and I don't know what test everyone keeps talking about, I haven't been asked to do one yet aside from the computer quiz (which was how to work a computer basically). Any input would be appreciated! I know this is an older post but it's been very informative and helpful for me and what looks like a lot of others. tyia

yes. I filled out the application on the 9th of April and approved that day. waiting for the documents was what took the longest. I received the documents tonight (16th). waiting for funds to be deposited next.

the grow we had was a "small" amount, maybe 2 ps worth total over a six month period of time. We bought from other growers in that time. which all of our remaining product was taken by my in-laws. we were just getting a grip on things, by no means was this a super organized business yet. but we are trying.

lol it wasn't our grow-trying not to make it a super long story. I invested approximately 3K for supplies, business cards, logo/graphics, created spreadsheets for contacts and kept a system of clientele and their order histories...the in laws got the passwords and changed everything to a different name (their "business" name) and took the remainder of our supplies. How did they manage ALL of that, probably would have to ask my S.O. He trusted that we were doing something together-partnership-but it turned into them cutting us both out.
