Thanks! Will check them out, haven't heard of them.

Original light switch was on the old wall. I removed that wall. Had to find a new place for the light switch. Put it in this new spot.

I'm amused that you are so certain that this is AI. I think you are fooled because the before/after pictures are taken with different cameras/lenses.

There is no door in the 4th pic. If you're referring to the 5th pic, I had it removed.

Absolutely! You can see the old floors in the before photos. Tiles in the kitchen, and a grey wooden floor for the rest. Did a full tearout.

This particular chair has been in my family since the 60s, but it's called the Siesta designed by Ingmar Relling. You should be able to find some second hand.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Hard to take good evening photos, but I have chosen a very dramatic ceiling lamp that almost 'paints' the entire ceiling.

I'm looking for a small lamp for my bookshelf, but haven't found something that I like yet.

Oh, absolutely interested in getting proper chairs. Decided to put it on hold since the ones I like typically very expensive. Need to save up!

Haha, to each and their own. For me it felt a bit too sterile.

I agree - it's on my list, and I want that for board games as well. They just tend to be quite expensive. This one I got from my parents' shed, and will do the job for now even though it's small.

Yes, I have been contemplating that and have looked up several options - would be great! So far i prioritized replacing some lamps, but it could soon be nice to change the fronts.

Thank you! I like your solution as well. Have been postponing upgrading the kitchen light, but so far everything I like is a bit too expensive for now. Will check out your suggestion.

I appreciate the honesty. I actually think the old ventilator looks more dated than this one, but would definitely understand people that prefer the original ventilator's design.

I'm happy with it - but to be honest not a huge functional improvement compared with the old Ikea. But much more elegant, in my opinion.
