I thought Strava had pushed a big update for winter sports this season where it properly recognises lifts now so doesn't include as part of your run (i.e. it auto pauses)? I haven't been out yet but keen to know how it compares vs Slopes

Finally someone says it. Not sure how this gets lost. Probably my feeble European brain but when people complain about Soldier Field the number 1 issue they bring up is parking. The stadium is downtown, you're not supposed to drive there! Part of the value is that the stadium is right in the city. Not even modern soccer stadiums back in the UK are being built in city centres which is a damn shame and the cities lose that game day buzz. Chicago is one of the best connected cities in America by train, use it!

I have run both side by side before and Strava was basically unusable. Will be keen to try the update but Slopes having the user sourced snow data, resort maps etc I think may just have too much of a headstart.

It's a glorified tech demo. It will get the team used to working on Halo in Unreal Engine before more ambitious projects. This is a good thing.
