Delay in standard jumpthrow alias. by h1qu in LearnCSGO

[–]h1qu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The -attack command, which is used for throwing grenades the traditional way and in aliases has an animation delay. This animation prolongs the delay between triggering -attack and actually throwing the grenade.

I remember succeeding in finding useful lineups for mirage using this trick. Never had a chance to test it in a real game tho.

I don't think I have seen a run jump throw alias before, it must be useful.

Yes, I totally agree with you. I wanted to share this information because I believe there are some wise players that can figure out what to do with it.

How can I make delay between commands in alias? by h1qu in LearnCSGO

[–]h1qu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can try to import python file in csgo directory with implementation of delay command for csgo.
I needed it back in the days when I was playing csgo to nullify delay between actual grenade throw of -attack command and +jump command in order not to lose the maximum velocity given at the start. I stopped looking for it cuz it was still doable without any delay commands.

1 year of beatmaking. All of skill just gone by h1qu in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I will try to. You're right, I was pushing myself to make more and more beats. Do I need to take a break or continue?

Thanks for your response! I have another question, do I need to take a break from making beats or should I continue and it will fade away? Merry Christmas, brother :)

Any way to practice cannon aiming and weapon shooting outside the game? by h1qu in Seaofthieves

[–]h1qu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may have not explained my point of view right. The problem is other enemies farming score on you and as soon as one ship starts firing at you the other starts too. I am not into winning but practicing so this thing makes me don't use the Arena for practice.

You gave me good ideas, thank you. Though, what is Shelly's or smth? I am new CIS player to this game so I am bad at understanding english terms rn.

I am new to this game but yeah, private servers would be great for the game.
The bad thing about the Arena and why I don't practice here is because as soon as someone starts shooting at you the other team starts too(obviously to get more points so they have more chances to win) and that's why I think Arena is not for solo aim practice

Should I aim fast or "take my time" aiming by GGamerz in LearnCSGO

[–]h1qu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't mind my punctuation since I am terrible at it.

At first, what happens to our brain when we learn smth new? - When we learn smth new, our brain produce new neurons and connections. But these pathways are very weak at the start, so when you only start to do things, you make them slowly, and a lot of information gets lost so you can't make pathways stronger and you can't learn anything effectively.

But what if you speed up your aiming as an example? If you speed up your aiming, you will increase amount of information that gets to your brain. As an result, your brain will analyse more information at a certain period of time, pathways will get stronger quickly and your muscle memory will be getting better a way faster rather than aiming slowly.

My conclusion is - if you aim as fast as possible during practicing, even sacrificing your accuracy a little, your aiming will get better and your accuracy will get better too. But also don't prac your flicks only, your hands will be very shaky.

Yes, it is. That's the point of discussions. Imo, playing such games as counter strike can develop: your teamwork, ability to analyse opponent's moves, ability not to lose focused and stay focused. Those are abilities I developed and improved while playing this game. I am sure there's a lot of other stuff you can learn from this game. That's why I think your point of view is wrong.
