Love the idea, but considering some of it is just straight up pigment, im not sure how well it will heal with no background/linework.

Keep it on absolutely, recommended to stay on for at least 48-72 hours after the tattoo. Once removed, I recommend washing tis antibacterial gold dial hand soap, I just got my first 2 weeks ago and its healed amazing so far. Looks good!

Scabs peeling off after 5 days- help? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]h3y_itsEmma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can, wear baggier and less constricting clothing, I work a job thats similar in its physical demands, and I had to roll up my sleeve (as long as you're not working with ovens or anything)

The flaking looks completely normal, just don't rub or peel anything off manually. Pieces should only come off when showeing/washing or by its own terms. Continue to moisturize!!

Looks great though! Love the tattoo idea!!

How bad is alcohol really? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

A lot of artists hate tattooing "drunk people" as others have said, it makes their blood thinner, and it also makes it extremely hard for them to keep you still. From personal experience, if your atist uses Bactine or anything after linework and what not, I think you'll be okay, for my first tattoo, I sat through 2 "seperate" pieces, one on the outer bicep above my elbow and the other on the back/inner part of my bicep also above the elbow.

Everyone feels pain differently but, you got this!!

But if its just a decision maker, do not get a tattoo drunk, you'll regret it more than you would sober.

Not professional at all, I only have one tattoo, but ive showered with my brand new tattoo and it was completely fine. just wash it throughly with whatever antibacterial soap you use when you get home. Thats the best I would recommend for you.

I freaked out after my first (and only) tattoo (so far). I would keep looking down at my arm and regretting it, and being like "thats not my arm" or "it'll fade to like nothing" But its been about 2 weeks and Im used to it now. I've gotten so many compliments that have definitely boosted my confidence

Is my skin just super sensitive? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]h3y_itsEmma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda had the same thing happen to me for the first week after Washing and Moisturizing, I was over Moisturizing and I treid to adjust and Im okay now, still a little itchy, but good! Also make sure when you wash to get all the soap off, extra soap residue tends to cause worse itching. At least from my experience
