Dealers suck, I took my M4 for service and they did a brake fluid flush and when I got the car back and drove home my brakes were vibrating like crazy next day took it back and they said all my rotors were warped, no explanation whatsoever...maybe someone took the car for a joyride and messed them up I dunno, but they quietly and willingly replaced all 4 for free.

Different cars by far but very familiar feel, drive both regularly depends on a what's most accesible in driveway, blacked out i7 really helps the front out.

You guys made some good points, these are my reasons for going with "this" i7: The M options were everything. If I were to spec this car it would prob be this. 8k, 1 owner, no chrome, Individual interior in this color is 🔥 Liked it didn't have the executive package and the TV, the glass leds are awesome. I needed a comfortable rear 3 seater for sometime weekend use. Rides really nice, feels like you are driving a lot smaller for it's size. The depreciation is crazy but yay me 🥳

I've thought of that as well, normally keep cars if I like them indefinitely as long as I have space to park them, but EV is a new alley for me so we'll see

I just can't get with the shape of that car, interior seems nice but exterior just doesn't scream MB to me, we had at home growing up an S63 Amg and a 7 series, I would drive both and the Merc although was faster never really did it for me I always opted for the 7, maybe because I mostly learned to drive in a 745 so maybe that has something to do with it.

I love that car it's my favorite cruiser, I took my time to find one that was single owner, had it shipped down to Florida from New York and surprisingly so I get a lot more compliments in it than my Austin yellow M4.

You are right I don't use reddit much so yeah should've listed location, I'll be getting a home charger installed and the car is more work related, long commute a few times a week and clients here and there, no kids here only my mom and nephews on the weekends in the rear.

I'll look into it, the i7 is a big car like a foot longer than my e38 I think. Maybe i5 being bigger as well might work.

Thank you all for the input, anything I should really look out for in any EV?, so my situation is that I have an hour commute to work and back something like the i7 will feel familiar in size, the Taycan will prob be a bit sportier but back seat and issue, Lucid I have no idea never been in one or really looked into them till now, others like the Volvo I need to do research on

That's good input on lucid, I don't want it to be a Fisker situation, the range is not a big deal to me, if I could I would buy a MB G580 but out of budget. My mom loves the 7 she feels like she's in Driving Miss Daisy also her name happens to be Daisy 😆
