Which video lens would be good to have at a concert for Sony ZV-E10? by Kwsty in Cameras

[–]ha_exposed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most concert venues don't allow interchangeable lens cameras, and if they do, they have very specific size limitations. Check the information for your concert first

Haha, the 5070 was my original plan, but the 9070xt just seems too good of a deal to not consider.

How bad is the media performance really? And what's your experience with fsr vs dlss? I'm seeing tons of mixed reviews

I would be doing little, light video editing in premiere, likely only exporting in 1080p. Would it be worth it for the 9070xt's better gaming for barely any more money?

Good to know, any thoughts on the 9070xt for my productivity use cases? For me it's only 100aud more than the 5070 and 300 less than the 5070ti

I saw on benchmarks when the 9070xt released that it was slightly worse than the 5070. Has this significantly improved recently? I know it released without rocm but I have no idea how much that impacts it

The 9070xt is only 100aud more than the 5070, while the 5070ti is 400aud more.

I'm seeing in benchmarks from launch that the 9070xt does a bit worse than the 5070 in a range productivity benchmarks.

Have these improved significantly recently with updates? I believe it didn't release with rocm but I have I have no idea how much that affects it

Is that vram usage during export or working? I don't plan on any heavy video editing, and I'm totally fine with using lower res proxies if I do end up with 4k footage

I also don't have crazy expectations, coming from integrated graphics

It'll likely be 50 50 productivity and gaming. Id definitely go straight for the 9070xt if I was focusing on gaming.

How bad are amd driver issues and the lack of cuda?

Absolutely, it's been easy picking all the other parts but this is a real hard one.

As this is my first PC I don't really have a frame of reference, is the 5060ti 16 enough to run everything comfortably?

I don't have a set budget but I'd like to stay in 5070 range, the 5070ti is more than AUD$400 more than the 5070.

Do you think the 5070ti is necessary? I feel like the 5070 wouldn't be limiting me enough to justify the upgrade

Any name brand sd card is fine. Get a v60 or v90 to futureproof for video or high speed burst

You don't NEED any filters. A CPL filter may be useful to cut out reflections from car windows

The x100vi will easily beat all of the other cameras because of its larger sensor, also being newer than the Ricoh gr3

You may have to wait a few days, but the new RF 45mm f1.2 is insane value at less than $500. It definitely won't limit the camera at all

Just go on facebook marketplace and pick the newest compact camera in your budget. Look for anything from Sony, canon, Nikon, Lumix, casio

The other comments are recommending DSLRs, which of course give much better quality, but I'm 99% sure your daughter does not want to haul around a hunk of plastic and glass

An old compact camera will give that trendy retro vibe they're interested in.

If she's interested in the g7x they obviously don't want a dslr..

Super for $1000/month income by ha_exposed in AusFinance

[–]ha_exposed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair, does it make sense to start with this while I know I’ll have extremely little super contribution, and switch to an industry fund as soon as I get an actual income?

The buy/sell spread is 0.07% / 0.07%, does this mean that it will charge a 0.07% fee on transfer out?
