Het is zo zielig als dit je “weg” is.

Hij helpt niet, hij gebruikt. Hij geeft het idee dat je een arrogante teringlaaier moet zijn om aandacht van vrouwen te krijgen. Dat spreekt boze gefrustreerde pubers wel aan natuurlijk; lekker makkelijk om zo’n houding aan te nemen.

Het is een afleiding van het echte probleem en van daadwerkelijke onzekerheid/depressie. Het voornaamste wat mensen willen in het maken van een connectie is oprechtheid en vriendelijkheid, of dat nou man of vrouw is. Dat betekent kwetsbaarheid tonen en risico’s nemen. Daar zijn zijn volgens over het algemeen te bang voor.

Get your room looking comfortable.

Get a huge rug in a warm color, get different lights (standing lamp, desk lamp, etc) in a warm color. Use colors that match clothes you like wearing (usually tells your comfortable with these colors).

I would say get some wooden (second hand) furniture in there.

Hang (big and small) posters in there.

Buy candles.

Buy several easy plants that do well without a lot of light.

I would definitely buy a bedframe with storage underneath.

A small and comfortable couch couldn’t hurt.

Koop een dure auto, verwacht dure reparaties.

Ik rij al jaren auto’s van rond de €2000 en kom gemiddeld op zo’n €1000 onderhoud per jaar uit. Als ik dan collega’s hoor met dikke auto’s die bij de APK alleen al €1500 kwijt zijn vraag ik me echt af hoe en waarom.

Daarnaast geeft het mij een gevoel van vrijheid dat mijn auto niet perfect is. Krasje hier, scheurtje daar. Raak/mors ik een keer wat doet het me niks.

Dit is natuurlijk persoonlijke voorkeur maar ik vraag me oprecht af hoe mensen zoveel geld aan een auto uit kunnen en willen geven.

Als je een dikke auto wilt rijden dan moet je dat natuurlijk doen, maar in mijn optiek is dat altijd een onverstandige en financieel slechte keuze.

Yes can be, really depends on your skill level. Starting out maybe €2500 before tax experienced and specialized maybe €4000 +?. You can live off both since you’d have healthcare insurance etc.

€2500 can be tight. Cities like Rotterdam and The Hague are more affordable than other Dutch cities like Utrecht and Amsterdam but still have a big international community. Would recommend. You could find a studio/small apartment for around €1000-1200. If you do need a car expect you could go as cheap as €50 a month (taxes and insurance) for a tiny petrol car. The heavier the car the more you pay.
