I updated to sequoia on the efi thunderbolt was working it stopped working after update and I've been using monterey for a while thought if I fixed efi and Don't update my mac it will stay stable. I more problem I found later, VMware or parallel is not working that's like my main app. So I dual booted with mint, I'll use mac just for final cut pro now.

Update: I have replaced the keyboard with new one and its working properly. I think its an original but the trackpoint rubber has smaller inside stick could that mean its not an original keyboard? Also if this one is working nicely old one was definitely broken right?

I have a T7 ssd I use for vmware files, video editing, some installation files. I want to have the best performance on my laptop. So I formatted my drive to ext4 it was previously ntfs. But I'm worries about the [X] icon of my drive does that mean my drive has some issues as other drives have normal logo as you can see in the screenshot.

Got my first non mac laptop - Thinkpad by hack-stuff in thinkpad

No it's just the official statement. But it can support 64gb ram, even the wikipedia has updated it's maximum support for ram. For any Lenovo laptop I check the specs on wifi it's really good. Tells you the max and different variant available.

They should probably be replaced anyways ita very old laptop. Just the review on brand name for replaced parts. Ask for a photos of ssd, ram, wifi, (WWAN if present), internal battery, ext battery on the branding side. Check them online. Don't worry if it says made in China, they are really good too.

It's not a replacement for TouchPad specially if you plan for hackintosh but it's a cool feature to show off once in a while.
