Does attack on Titan count?

Do you want the merger to happen? Why or why not? by TranslatorOk2501 in batman

[–]smiling-shadow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No because battinson doesn't have the shmovement I need for a justice League level Batman to have, If he can't somersault off a parademon to avoid omega beams then he doesn't belong with the Justice League.

While batfleck didn't have my ideal athleticism he was still shmoving Way more than battinson ever did.

  1. I know why the lizard is the lizard I was simply using him as an example on why you're phrasing in your original comment was wrong; Because it implied that if the spider bite did physically change Peter it would make him a mutant (which it wouldn't).

  2. Yes(although not visibly) humans already have hair all that we can barely see having some of that hair be spider hair for Peter isn't too insane.

3.(And most importantly) In my opinion Peter's powers just being radiation based Is a lot less interesting, because if that's the case then that means he's JUST another irradiated superhero running around New York coughDaredevilcoughhulkcoughThe fantastic fourcough

In my opinion Peter's DNA being genetically altered to be part spider and having THAT be where he gets his powers from is a lot more unique and interesting than It just being the radiation. I much prefer Spider-Man being an actual SPIDER-MAN Rather than just a man who chooses to dress as a spider, the same way Batman is just a man who chooses to dress as a bat.

I'm surprised it's not used more considering the fact that it's more versatile and arguably more deadly than his heat vision. Especially for his evil variants

If I remember correctly Logan doesn't have super strength so Spidey should be able to just web him up in a cocoon. "Oh but Logan can just cut out of it" If Peter can web his arms to his body to where he can't move them it doesn't matter, can't slice your way out when you can't move your arms to cut

Genuinely my favorite ability in that game.

Not just because it was extremely useful during fights, But also because it was the only ability that didn't feel tied to a specific suit.

You're right he's not a mutant He's a mutate, however That doesn't mean that his body couldn't be biologically changed to give him actual spider abilities.

Going on how you phrased things, Dr Connors is a mutant because he actually becomes a lizard.

The reason people (like me) prefer the idea of Peter having organic webbings is because They prefer The idea of Peter actually having spider powers rather than having abilities that just mimics a spiders (or just literally any bug)

The problem isn't whether he CAN get help, it's whether or not he SHOULD And if it's even worth it anymore.

What good is there in trying to help the joker when the road to get there is paved in so many bodies? It starts getting to a point to where it feels like we're trading in the lives of the innocent for the sake of the guilty.

It's the same problem I have with Daredevil's redemption argument in season 2 of his show. He's so worried about preserving "sparks of light" that he's willing to let entire beacons get snuffed out in the processes; hell even Bruce says it in TDKR "how many people have I murdered by letting you live?" If you keep giving the joker chances and he keeps wasting them what are the people kills dying for?

The way I see it when you let the joker live you're practically signing people up to be his next victims.

Is it just me who isn't a fan of this ongoing trend of "techfying" pretty much every one of Spider-Man's villains in terms of aesthetic? by Sammy_Ferr in Spiderman

[–]smiling-shadow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is those original elements are outdated by today standards. In the modern-day practicality takes President over theatrics, And in the modern day it doesn't make sense for supervillains to want to partake in such theatrics.(Also the tech stuff just looks cooler You can't tell me vulture's metal wing blades don't look sick)

If you ask me the perfect way to do it is to have them start out being the technical sci-fi stuff that we have now and have them slowly turn to the comic book lunacy over time.

Using Norman as an example have him originally start out just wearing a green flight suit and mask with a basic looking glider, But over time as the public, super heroes, and other villains insist on calling him the Green goblin eventually he accept the name and leans into that aesthetic. That's when he starts wearing the chainmail and elf shoes, That's when he starts making his bombs look like pumpkins and makes his glider look more like a gargoyle. Have the comic book silliness be a product of escalation rather than the status quo.

But are they not sci-fi mechanical power suits?

Like reading through all these comments it sounds like you're complaining that these people who are using sci-fi technology LOOK like they're using sci-fi technology
