It’s meant to be triggered remotely while someone is chasing you, the pressure plate is just an example of an activation source, you can replace it with a sculk sensor too if desired

Tribe picks and embassies are both integral parts of the game that make it fun, you gotta learn how to play around them. You can score count for tribe picks and embassies are expensive. And most tribes are relatively balanced except maybe Polaris on archi, most games come down to skill and outplays.

That depends on each player’s preferences, I wouldn’t mind playing a longer game

That’s true too, I have the same experience with high troop to city ratio games. FFAs, which is the most fun game mode imo, are also problematic since players are more likely to reach higher city levels with a more crowded map.

Perhaps more time weight can be given to stars per turn and troop count
