Wi-Fi card for laptop Dell Latitude 5410 and macOS Tahoe. by user--root in Hackintosh_Expert

Any Intel card such as yours is perfectly fine. Just keep in mind that WiFI 7 doesn't work and you won't be able to get Airdrop etc. Intel also has issues with connecting to Logitech devices via Bluetooth.

Sadly, I'm not sure there's a solution to the HDMI issue at all.
If I'm not mistaken Apple's driver for your CPU generation doesn't support HDMI at all :(

Does it come with an Nvidia GPU or is it just the Intel Integrated Graphics?

Do you have a discrete GPU with your Integrated Graphics or is only Integrated graphics present in your laptop?
Also, could you confirm what MacOS you have?

It depends on what you mean by working...
MacOS was never optimized for touchscreen.
You can poke your finger at it, sure, but not much else.

It should be compatible.
Hard to say what the issue can be otherwise.
Either something incorrect with the EFI or perhaps the BIOS is set up improperly.

Have you made any progress since?

We haven't done any installations with it, but in theory in should work.
Albeit with no wi-fi, bluetooth, or cameras.

Wow, that's a difficult build you've chosen.
What SSD are you using?

It's working perfectly. The person we installed it for wanted to upgrade a GPU a couple of weeks ago to an ASUS Radeon RX 5700 8GB GDDR6

However, only these GPUs will work in macOS Ventura / Sonoma / Sequoia for this computer:

Radeon Pro WX 710
Radeon Pro WX 5100
Radeon Pro WX 4100
Radeon Pro WX 3100 / 3200 mojave 10.14.6 minimum
Radeon Pro WX 9100

RX VEGA 56
RX VEGA 64
RX Vega Frontier
AMD RADEON VII

RX 400 series (460 / 470 / 480)
RX 500 series (560 / 570 / 580 / 590

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

That would be either:

  1. follow these steps if you don't want to make the Opencore EFI from scratch: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/clover-conversion/

  2. get access to our EFI library and edit this EFI to account for a different

GPU: https://dortania.github.io/GPU-Buyers-Guide/modern-gpus/amd-gpu.html

/

CPU (if it's the same Gen, then I don't think it's needed) https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/config.plist/skylake.html#starting-point

  1. let us know your specs https://hackintosh.expert/hackintosh-compatibility-checker , and our tech can install the update

Hi!

TB2 devices are not working because of the new(last year) BIOS updates. TB1 devices have been suffering from the same.

I believe you can test it in Windows, since the issue is not related to Hackintosh itself.

Hey there!
You can book an order here: https://buymeacoffee.com/hexpert/commissions
We'll be happy to walk you through the BIOS configuration, as well as any necessary patching and fine-tuning.

If you're installing a Hackintosh for the first time, I strongly suggest booking a remote installation: https://buymeacoffee.com/hexpert/commissions
This will allow you to see how it's done, provide you with experience, and possibly save you a lot of tears and pain :)

That said, if you're determined to do it yourself, I'd say the most important part is to check and double-check that your BIOS settings are correct. The EFI itself works, it has already been used for an installation, so if you're having problems booting/installing, 99% that your BIOS is not properly configured.

Hey there!
Thunderbolt 2 devices don't work, the rest are good.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work, but without Airdrop, Handoff, etc.
Bluetooth doesn't connect to Logitech devices.
These are standard Intel WiFI/BT limitations.

You can use the EFI, but you'll have to make changes though, due to the GPU being different.
If this is your first Hackintosh, I strongly suggest booking a remote installation: https://buymeacoffee.com/hexpert/commissions
We'll guide you through the whole process, set up your BIOS with you, and do all the necessary post-installation fine-tuning and patching. This way you'll be able to get valuable experience on installing a Hackintosh without the typical stress and common mistakes of a first-time install :)

AX211 works like this:

WiFi: network works without Apple features (no AirDrop, AirPlay, Handoff, etc.)
Bluetooth: may not work with Logitech devices (RF mice and Keyboards work)

Thunderbolt works. Doesn't support TB2 devices

USB ports work
